THIRD PERSON P.O.V:-
"Will you keep staring at me like this while sitting infront of me for the whole night?", she spoke breaking the silence. Arjun who was silently thinking to himself looked away for a bit and then back at her. She, his wife was sitting with a red veil over her head and was beautifully adorned, her beauty was like none at that moment as she sat in the middle of the bed which was decorated with flowers, in the atmosphere of the room with candles lit at every corner which added a different glow to her face.
"... No- I just...", he sighed. "Its my first time in a situation like this... I mean...D-do you want to do this?", he replied knowing what was expected of them at their wedding night. "No", Subhadra replied almost immediately. "What do you think of me? I'm not... I need time okay? How can I just- just do it immediately with a man i don't know...", she mumbled the last sentence looking away with a slight blush.
He looked down with a hint of blush too, but looked up again. "Its fine, we can just sleep, no one needs to know right? so- I'll be on the couch, okay?". "I'm not that heartless too... y-you can just sleep here...", she replied with a low voice as she put her hand on the bed by her side. "You sure? you want me to- sleep with you?", he asked to confirm her words to which she nodded in response. He slowly nodded "... okay, okay... I'll just- I think we should change before sleeping?" he suggested to which she nodded slowly.
She slowly got off the bed, walking to the dressing table in her heavy dress and sat in front of the mirror and took off her veil first. Arjun kept looking at her, it was an unknown pull for him, something that makes him not to look away from her, not to have get out of his sight. As she continued taking off her jewelries one by one and putting them on the table up front, she caught a few of his glances through the mirror. "Won't you change too?", she asked noticing his unchanging gaze at her.
"I will, just going...", he replied walking off to some other room to change in the peacefulness of the midnight. Once done changing he looked at himself for one last time and walked back for their bedroom. Opening the door, he saw quiet a scene, Subhadra struggling with her hair's difficult updo and her dress messed up. "Need some help?", he spoke up between his heart feeling little flutters.
She looked up hearing his voice, a bit startled at the sudden appearance which she had not noticed walking to her till he stood right behind her, hovering her in a way from behind. "Uh- I'm sorry, I've never done my hair myself... my maid used to do this all for me and its- all messed up...", she looked down from his gaze as she replied. "Its fine, let me help you." He spoke to her words in reply as he brought his hand to her hair's updo as she sat still at his movement. His heart's beating rate increased as his hands worked on her hair, feeling how soft her hair was, its silkiness doing something to his heart making him feel fluttering sensations as he worked to untangle her hair. "Done...", he spoke in a lost voice as he took a strand of her hair in his hands and caressing it.
"D-done..?", she asked, lightly blushing at his action to which he let her hair down, muttering out a yes. "I'll go and change into something more light then...", she looked away lightly and stood up slowly walking out of the room to other for a quick change while she could feel his constant gaze on him from behind burning in her back....
