Y/n pov :-

I slowly opened my eyes and to my surprise I was in the Institute's infirmary. I looked around and found no one . I signed as I recall what happened that night.

𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 :-

" Glass shattering sound " I woke up as I heard the sound that came outside of my room. I sat on my bed to confirm if I heard it right or it was just an illusion. But this time i heard a loud thud as something breaking down. I panicked as I heard footsteps coming towards my room . I slowly jumped from my bed and hide under it .i heard my room's door opening " Oh my dear y/n, where are u. I heard that u are the one who helped those Shadowhunters. Why don't u help me too. Oh my Y/n where are u " a man with a creepy voice was calling my name as he entered into my room . I put a hand on my mouth trying not to make any sound. I saw that man going towards my closet " Oh oh y/n are u playing hide and seek with me. Come on come outside " I saw that footsteps stopped near my bed. At this point of time i was praying to God that someone save me Or if I am having a nightmare. " Wow there u are " I hurriedly looked up and saw his face right in front of me and shouted loudly "ahhhhhhhhhh" Next thing I know that he grabbed my hand and pulled me out and threw me across the room. I yelped in pain as I saw a tall blonde man standing with a creepy smile on his face. " Who are u " I asked " Oh my sweet y/n didn't those Shadowhunters told u about me ohh so sad. " He said Devishly. " Valentines " I wishpersed " Wow I didn't know u were that smart " He said as he was coming closer. As he was coming forward I was moving backward . " Why are u here and how did you find where I live" I said as fear can be heard through my voice " Oh y/n I have my own ways " He said . My eyes winded as my back hit the wall . He came and scrunched down " What do u want from me " I asked him as he laughed " Oh y/n u are so innocent . Just tell me where the mortal cup is. Is it in idris Or in the Institute " He said as he grabbed my hair tightly making me scream. " I don't have any idea " I said as I tried to free my hair from him. " Ok my sweetheart if u don't know then I am offering u a deal. As those Shadowhunters seem to be ur friend so why don't u go to the Institute and take the mortal cup and give it to me and in return I'll let u live " He said leaving my hair. " I can't and I would never do such a thing as I know what ur intention is. " I said trying to sound brave . He laughed creepily . " My intention? My intentions are very good y/n I just want to be a little more powerful. Is that so much to ask for " He said " Really? Little powerful? U want to kill all the downworlders and Shadowhunters. And control over mundane and demons. Is that a little wish? I said while standing up. I saw him getting angry. " U know nothing about me y/n so shut ur mouth " He said while glittering his teeth." I don't help u with anything valentines. And that's why final decisi--- I stopped in between as I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked down and saw he stabbed me in my stomach."if u are not useful then I think u need to die my dear y/n " He said while twisting the knife. I screamed in pain and my blood started coming out of my mouth. He backed off and said " Rest in peace y/n " And left from there. I slide down while holding my stomach. Tears were coming out my eyes and slowly all the beautiful memories with my family and best friend were coming. " I am sorry mom dad I know I was always a clumsy person who never think anything before doing or telling. But I love u guys so much. I am sorry I am leaving u too soon. But I promise I'll meet u again. Love u mom! Love u dad! . I said as I was loosing my Consiusness. Later everything went black.

𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 𝚎𝚗𝚍

Y/n! Y/n!!! I snapped out of my thought as I heard someone calling my name. I turned my head and saw izzy. " Hey " I said as she hugged me gently. " Thank god u are okay " She said breaking the hug. " Yeah and thank u for saving my life again I guess" I smiled faintly. " How did u find me " I asked her " After we found ur letter. We panicked trying to found u . We checked camera and found u leaving the Institute. We didn't know where u live so alec and jace tried to track u through their parabatai bond but still there were no sign of u. But hopefully Hodge got u address through ur embassy site and we went there and that's how we found u laying there in blood" She said explaining " But who did this to u " She asked as I signed " Valentines " . " WHAT " I heard and look behind izzy and saw alec jace and clary.

They came towards me as jace and clary hugged me " Thank god u woke up we thought we already lost u " Jace said as he break the hug. " Well I am here breathing . Thanks to u guys " I said while smiling. " That was Childish. sneaking out like that " Alec said In his cold tone. " Seriously alec let her breath would u " Jace said while glaring at alec as he roll his eyes. " Did valentines done this to u " Clary asked me as I nodded. " Tell us everything " Alec demanded. " Realx alec let her rest at least " Izzy said to his elder bro. " She is right Alec. We will talk tomorrow about this " Jace said as they looked at me as I nodded.

" Hey izzy can u help me to get to my room" I asked her as she smile while nodding. She help me stand up and we walk towards my room followed by the others. Clary opened the door as we entered. " Here take some rest y/n " Izzy said leaving my hand. " Goodnight guys" I said as everyone nodded and left from there. After they left I lay down on my bed and sleep as my body was too exhausted.

" Hey y/n are u okey " He said as he came towards my bed and looked at me Worriedly . " Nothing I just had a nightmare " I told him " Hey it's okay ok . U are safe here " He said softly while he rubbed my hand. " Go to sleep okey " He said as he tried to stand up but I stopped him by pulling his hand. He looked at me " Please will u stay with me.. Just for tonight " I asked him with pleading eyes I don't know what's got into me. But to my surprise he nodded in agreement and made me lay and also layed beside and hold my hand. I felt very safe in his presence I don't why. Soon I drifted to sleep.
