Three days.

It's been three days since Vansh talked to me last time. I am mad and confused at his change of behaviour since we came back from Samira's house. He's been acting different.

And I'm not liking that different at all.

"Dadi, main andar aa sakti hu?" I asked dadi in a soft tone. I think she's about to go to sleep. She looks at me, and a big smile forms on her face.
(Dadi, can I come in?)

"Kaisi baatein karrahi ho Shona. Aajao, puchne ki kya zaroorat hai." She gave me a playfully scolding look, and made hands which told me to go inside. I went towards her and sat on the bed, and she pulled me into her embrace.
(What are you talking about Shona. Come in, you don't have to ask?)

"How is your health now?" I asked her. After a while, she sighed and pulled back to look at my face. "I am fine sweetie. But I can tell you aren't. Tell me, what is disturbing you so much?" She asked me and all I could do was stare at her in surprise.

Am I that easy to read?

"It's...just that..." I say trying to sound as casual as I could. She raised a brow at me, asking me to continue silently.

I sighed and said the words which have been disturbing me lately.

"It's about Vansh. Since the day we came back from Samira's house, he's been acting really different. He hasn't talked to me about anything rather than your blood pressure Statics. And that too for like, two seconds. Is he mad at me?" I asked.

It was concerning to me, when his behaviour changed that much. I thought I'd gained myself a friend and a companion. And I don't want to loose him. That's all.

"What? Why would he do that? He's a calm boy, he don't even get angry easily. Did you do something, shona? Or maybe something happened at Samira?" Dadi said seriously making me rethink the day.

I can't remember anything weird happening that day. We were chatting and having fun. But when we came back he's been ignoring me since. "Is it because I forced him to come with me? Maybe he didn't want to and now he's angry at me?" I say. This makes so much sense.

"I...don't know beta. Why don't you to and ask Vansh, himself?" Dadi said, she was visibly concerned. I sighed looking at her and not wanting to make her more worried, I gave her a kiss on her head and stood up from her bed.

"Okay, I'll do so. You don't worry ok. Sleep nicely, I'm sure it's some misunderstanding. I will sort it out. You have rest now." I say and gave her a small smile. She sighed and smiled back at me. "You scared me. I don't know what to do when you two act like kids. Just go and solve your clashes, ok?" She said and chuckled.

I looked away in embarrassment.

"Y..yes. goodnight. Now sleep" I say and walked out of her room. I think I heard her laugh a little as I stepped out.

I was nervous as I stood outside Vansh's room. For the last two minutes or so I'm deciphering if I should knock the door or not. I don't remember being this nervous about talking to someone ever. What the hell have you done to my brain Vansh!

I took a deep breath, and raised my hand up to knock on the door. Just when I was about to, the door opened on itself and the one and only Vansh Aggarwal came into view. He was looking down but as soon as he looked up, I saw surprise lining on his face.

He stared at me for a few seconds before he frowned. That's understandable since I've never come to his room before.

"Hi" I initiated the conversation.

"Hello." He replied in a low voice. I sighed. He's definitely angry.

"I'm so sorry." These words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop myself. He looked at me in confusion and I knew what he was about to ask me.

"Why are you apologising?" I knew this question was coming. He asked me and opened his door completely, asking me to come inside with his hands, respectfully. I went inside and he gestured me to sit on the couch.

I followed wherever he said and sat on the couch. He sat exactly opposite to me, on the bed. "Now tell me." He spoke in his usual soft tone.

"I....don't know." I replied truthfully as embarassment started to creep into me at his even more confused gaze.

I'm a fool.

"Then why are you saying sorry to me?" He asked me. He also had a small smile on his face.

That relieved me a little.

"You are talking to me since last three days. I was worried that I've done something to make you angry or uncomfortable that you've stopped talking to me. You haven't even wished me goodmorning since we came back from Samira's. I was worried." I spoke out and it felt as if I was complaining.

But I couldn't help myself.

Vansh kept looking at me for a few seconds, his gaze softening more and more with every second until he sighed and rubbed his face with both his palms.

"I'm not angry at you at all." He says after a short gap, as he puts down his hands and gave me a small but genuine smile.

"Then....why aren't you taking to me?" I asked, this time it was me who's in confusion.

He gave me a helpless smile, and shook his head.

What is in his mind?
