JUNGKOOK POV
When I arrived in Snowfall, greeted by royal guards who
told us that the King and his consort would like an audience with us, I'd nearly lost my nerve.I was ready to turn around and go home, I could call Jimin on the phone and speak to him
with some distance between
us, where I could imagine him
as a regular person and not a royal. But then I spoke with Jimin's parents and they'd invited us to dinner, They were sweet and
kind and didn't treat me like
I wasn't worthy of their son.Quite the opposite actually.
I'd liked Jimin's parents immediately, however intimidating it may be that
they had the title of king and ruled a country. They were friendly and warm, and obviously wanted what
was best for Jimin.I had no idea what my dad and
I were in for when we had agreed to go to dinner but we
all enjoyed ourselves after we got over the initial awkwardness.Much to Jimin's dismay, his
dads told me stories more embarrassing than the one
about him running around in
his Batman pajamas at a
state dinner. After we finished our meals,
the King stood."Jungkook, the Rose Garden
has been prepared for you and
Jiwoo to sit down and talk.""Just let the guards know when you're finished so they can resume their normal rotations."
Jimin nodded. "Thanks Dad."
"Jungkook, it was a pleasure
to have you here.""We look forward to seeing you and your father more often."
"And we'd like to apologize for the disruption to your life that our status has caused."
"Thank you." I said evenly, though my cheeks heated and
I thought I might die from embarrassment.I was in the presence of
royalty. In a palace! My dad left with the King, his consort and Prince hobi and
Jimin and I were left alone. He stood and held out his hand.
"Walk with me?" he asked.
His voice had a shakiness to it that I wasn't used to hearing from him.
I slipped my hand into his and
it was as if I was coming home. His touch brought me comfort and calmed my stomach.
Though I was exhausted from the long plane ride and general lack of rest I'd had from the stress of the last two weeks,
I felt invigorated being at
Jimin's side again.How did I ever think I was
going to live without him
when we had this sort of a connection? We walked out of the dining room and through the hallway.
We turned left and stepped into
a lavish ballroom with marble flooring and large windows that showed a view of the veranda. Each direction I looked had gorgeous artwork, paintings, statues and sculptures the
likes of which I'd only ever
seen in books."This is amazing." I said.
Jimin squeezed my hand.
"I cannot wait to show you
more of Snowfall.""You are going to love it."
I already did because he was there because it was his home,
a part of him and our unborn child. I cringed inwardly.I should have insisted that I speak to him before dinner so
I could have told him about
the baby but everything had happened so fast.We stepped outside and the
cool air touched my skin and I shivered, Jimin wrapped an
arm around my shoulder.I sighed against him.
My stomach calmed just by
being near him.I'd been plagued by what I
now knew to be morning sickness for the past week
and after just an hour in his presence my stomach settled
and my anxiety eased."I'm so sorry, When I agreed
to go on that blind date, I
never expected that it would
lead anywhere.""I hoped but it wasn't until I
saw you and we talked that
I started to fall for you and realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.""Not because I had to get married but because I wanted
to and then... it was too late.""I'd messed up by not being honest with you from the start."
"I was already just Jimin, I was trying to tell you who I was
when the press showed up."I faced him, my arms going around his neck.
"I know, I was so shocked and
I just started thinking that it
was some sort of prank or
game or I don't even know
what, I got scared and ran.""I was still scared, Then I saw your press conference yesterday."
Jimin's face softened and
the tension that had filled
his shoulders relaxed."I was coming back for you."
"As soon as my title was dissolved and I had more freedom, I was going to reach out to you." He rested his forehead against mine.
"You are everything to me,
More than my title, more than my status.""Whatever you want, I am
happy as long as we are together.""I'm glad to hear that." I bit
my lip.It was my turn to spill my
own secrets now.Jimin cupped my face in his hands, He placed a soft kiss
on my lips and I moaned.I missed the taste of him.
"If you want, I can let my
title go.""I don't need it."
"I just want you, if you'll
have me."I kissed him, pressing my
lips to his.He opened his mouth, his
tongue darting out to dance against mine."I'll marry you." I said.
"I have a lot to learn about
being married to royalty but
that will all have to come
later. I...""What is it?"
I grinned.
"I'm pregnant."
"I found out before I came
here but even without the
baby, I would have come
for you.""I couldn't live without you."
"The baby is a bonus."
"An amazing, life changing bonus."
Jimin grasped me around the waist and hoisted me in the
air, spinning me around."That is fantastic."
"I am so happy."
When my feet were safely on
the ground, I hugged him."Me too."
"I love you, Alpha."
"Prince or not, I want to be yours."
"You are mine and I am yours."
"Forever."
"I love you too, omega."
