As she sat in the grand chamber of books and scrolls of common and valyrian alike she sat at the desk she had made for herself in the room wondering what to do now. Meleys and Rhaenys where dead, Daemon was off in harrenhal doing gods knows what and their she sits in her chai reading over battles won and lost, of old scrolls of the freehold of old, a book on the dragons and riders of house targaryen landing on the page with Visenya on Vhagar it that had been opened countless times trying to figure a way of defeating the 'Hoary old bitch' as Daemon described the dragon. Jace is restless and Baela's moondancer was no match either to the danger Vhagar posed. Rhaenyra groaned as she wracked her mind on what to do a kingsguard entered the room as she looked over the old tome and said, "Prince Jaecerys your grace" before introducing Jace into the room and walking off.

As the Targaryen boy went to his mother he peered at the book she was reading and said, "Visenya?.."
"Vhagar's first rider and first wielder of dark sister." Said Rhaenyra coldly. She was not happy that Jace, her one heir to her claim, had gone off to the twins alone without her leave but she was not in the mood for argueing today. Until Jace said, "I hope you dont mean on using her as your example?"

"Why shouldn't I?" She stared at Jace with fury yet curiosity as she looked back onto the page with jace replying, "Merely that it was a long time ago" Rhaenyra would stare back again with curiosity before Jace hushed himself and turned away to leave the room. Rhaenyra saddened sighed and said, "What is the Mood of the Twins? Did his lordship quibble?"

Jace turned back around a little shocked but stated that, "He wishes for the Freys to have Harrenhal... after the war is over that is" Rhaenyra merely scoffed as she shook her head thinking, "Yes of course they would want more... not getting rich and fat off their tax hold on that river isnt enough, theyd want the whole riverlands if the Tully's weren't Lords Paramount"

Rhaenyra looked over to Jace with a stoic tone and said, "I am proud of you Jace, you have done our cause a excellent service" "Then why do I feel like you are mad at me Mother?" Jace would rebuke noticing Rhaenyra's behavior

"Because Jace I am not the only feeling chafed at being prevented from action. I am a Dragon rider as well, with a war being fought over my own ascension." She would close the book furiously and stroll over to another part of her desk sighing in exhaustion as she continued on, "And yet i am told I must wait here, Always prudent, sending others to fight and be felled in my name." She would raise her hands in both pride and frustration and say, "Even you have managed to do your part Jace" Jacerys would rebuke once more on a fact being told to her on the constant that she was now tired of hearing, "But mother you are the Queen, we cannot afford to lose you you are the tie that binds us no harm can be afforded to you-" "And you are my SON, Jacerys, and I did not give you leave to go!" The two of them would stare at each other in the candle light of the room obvious of the tension they each where bringing Jace would then give continue his arguement as his mother walked to another side of the room as she but a book away, "You do not give me leave to go do ANYTHING. But who else is their, Rhaenys is dead and Baela cannot bear the burden alone!" "And When Aemond comes hunting for you? Your dragon is young will you fly before vhagar as Luke did!?" The arguement was coming to its head before Rhaenyra sat down and gave a hefty sigh. This arguement was waning and tedious and she only had one thing on her mind, "I need Dragons if im to win this war...More than myself and Baela or you" Jace looked at her with concern and regret thinking of ways to help his mother but before he could give out his suggestion, the thought of others of the nobility who might have dragon blood in their veins a roar would echo the halls of dragonstone. It did not come from inside the Dragon mount as they first thought but outside instead.

"Dont tell me its Aemond and Vhagar we are not READY" Rhaenyra would scream as she held her hands in her head Jace looked to her and then over to the kingsguard out in the hall, "YOU go and find out who it is and alert lady Velaryon if we must ride let us make it worth it!" The Kingsguard looked to jace and then to Rhaenyra who looked at her son and cried before looking to her kingguard and nodding, "Go find out who it is and prepare the dragon keepers to get syrax and moondancer" The man nodded and ran as quickly in his armor. Jace began to run in pursuit but Rhaenyra halted him. He stood their with a look of worry as he wondered if she was goinig to hold him back. Rhaenyra at her wits end nodded and said, "GEt armored and get prepared me and Baela will meet you in the dragon mount... Be careful" With that Jace nodded and went forth into the armory. Rhaenyra began to get herself dressed for war with the help of her hand maidens as quickly as they could help her out before Steffon Darklyn, her Lord Commander of the Kingsguard came back and said, "Its not Aemond or Vhagar your grace!"
