I always believe that first impressions are everything. That it makes or breaks what someone will think of you for the rest of your relationship. So, I did my best to keep my first greetings with anyone like a normal human being, instead of being the awkward person I actually am. That is, until I first met him. Jamie Campbell Bower. He has this amazing ability to make you feel differently than anyone else. Like, you actually belong.
"You know love, I think you're doing an amazing job so far. Don't be afraid." Was the first thing he said on the first day we met while makingNew Moon. I amazingly passed the audition, something I didn't expect to actually happen. It was a role that required loads of film time with Jamie himself, something I was more than nervous about, considering how talented he is.
"Thank you Jamie. Really, that actually means a lot to me. I'm just..... sorry if I seem really awkward. This? Is nerve racking. But in a good way." He softly smiled at me with this toothy grin, like he knew what I was feeling in that moment. Because he himself, had been in my position before. He knew it all too well.
"I was the same way when I started filming Sweeney Todd. But, I knew this is what I wanted to do. That this was my calling, If you will. Then, it just flowed naturally." I looked around at the bustling room filled with amazing people who were making this incredible story come to life. And I was implemented into it, being a side character who ended up an obsession of sorts of Caius. Which naturally meant that Jamie and I had a chemistry test done together to see how well we connected. And judging by where we are today, I'd say it went well.
"That's actually good advice. I know I'll ease into it. Eventually. Especially since I have you to work with." We simply stared at one another with seemingly endless smiles of what the future would hold, gradually getting into filming scenes throughout the day that we had planned out together the night before. We rehearsed them on our own time, the intense feeling enough to heat up an entire house with raw emotion. Jamie had entirely transformed into Caius, rendering me the helpless human who would bend to his will.
"CUT!" Was yelled into the air around us with following words of encouragement to let us know that was the take they wanted, noting Ashley Green (Alice Cullen), standing behind the cameras, watching us perform. She excitedly waved me over as soon as I noticed, noting Jamie watching over our scene we shared with such precision.
"You two? Have some insane chemistry!" I seemingly blushed from her words, my heated cheeks enough to tell how I felt about the situation.
"So I've been told. And I can't lie, I feel it so strongly. Not just on camera, but when we merely talk about little things, or anything in between....." Noting I was rambling, my words slowly faded off from her humor filled smile, one that I could read all too well. She knew I really liked Jamie. That's when our eyes connected from across the way, a lingering feeling in my chest that simply wouldn't go away. Lustful thoughts were certainly tied to it. But so much more with it. Even in full vampire attire, red contacts, and everything, he was insanely attractive. I knew in that moment, this was far from over.
