The next few days flew by, filled with excitement and nervous anticipation. Gemini couldn’t believe how easily he clicked with Fourth. By Friday afternoon, he found himself glancing at his phone more often than usual, eagerly awaiting Fourth’s text about their weekend plans. When the message finally came, it felt like a jolt of electricity.

“Hey! Want to meet at that café this Saturday? I hear they have the best Thai iced tea!”

Gemini’s heart raced as he replied, “Definitely! What time?”

They settled on 2 PM, and Gemini spent the night before contemplating what to wear. He opted for a casual band tee and jeans, wanting to look relaxed yet put-together. As Saturday approached, he felt a mix of excitement and nerves, but he reminded himself that Fourth was just a friend.

The café was bustling when he arrived. With its vibrant decor and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the sweet scent of pastries, it was a popular spot among students. Gemini arrived early and found a small table in the corner, his heart fluttering with anticipation.

He took a sip of his iced tea, savoring the refreshing taste as he waited. A few minutes later, Fourth walked in, his bright smile immediately drawing Gemini’s attention. He waved excitedly and felt his anxiety melt away.

“Hey! Sorry I’m late! Got caught up in a last-minute errand for my sister,” Fourth said, sliding into the seat across from Gemini, his energy infectious.

“No worries! I just got here,” Gemini replied, relieved to see Fourth's friendly face.

They ordered their drinks and pastries, diving into conversation almost instantly. Fourth animatedly talked about his family, sharing funny stories about his younger sister. Gemini found himself laughing, imagining the chaos Fourth described.

“Last weekend, she decided to bake a cake for my mom’s birthday. It was a complete disaster—flour everywhere! I think I’ll stick to being the family chef,” Fourth said, shaking his head with a grin.

“Sounds like a fun disaster!” Gemini chuckled, picturing the mess. “At least she tried!”

“Yeah, and it’s always entertaining,” Fourth replied, his eyes sparkling. “What about you? Any cooking disasters?”

“Oh, plenty! I once burned pasta because I forgot to add water,” Gemini admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed but laughing it off. “I’m much better at playing guitar than cooking.”

“Guitar? That’s awesome! Do you play a lot?” Fourth leaned in, genuinely interested.

“Yeah, I started a few years ago. It helps me relax,” Gemini said, feeling more at ease with each exchange.

“I’d love to hear you play sometime! We could even write a song together,” Fourth suggested with excitement.

“Really? That sounds amazing! I’d love that,” Gemini replied, feeling his heart race at the thought.

After finishing their pastries, Fourth suggested they take a walk to a nearby park known for its beautiful flower gardens. The sun was shining, and the air was warm, creating a perfect afternoon for a stroll.

As they walked, Fourth reached for a flower and playfully tucked it behind Gemini’s ear. “Now you look even cooler!”

Gemini felt his cheeks heat up. “Thanks! I’ll have to make this my new look,” he joked, trying to play it cool.

They continued their walk, talking about everything from music to their favorite shows. Gemini found himself relaxing more with each passing moment. The park was lively, filled with families and friends enjoying the sunshine. They stopped by a fountain, the sound of water splashing creating a serene atmosphere.

“So, do you have any hobbies besides playing guitar?” Fourth asked, genuinely curious.

“I love video games,” Gemini replied. “I play a lot of RPGs. What about you?”

“I’m into rhythm games! I sometimes go to arcades with my friends. We have epic dance battles,” Fourth laughed, and Gemini joined in, picturing Fourth’s energetic moves.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden light over the park, Fourth turned serious for a moment. “I’m really glad we met, you know? It’s rare to find someone you click with right away.”

Gemini’s heart skipped a beat. “Yeah, me too. I feel like I can be myself around you,” he admitted, surprised at his own honesty.

Before he could say anything else, Fourth’s playful side returned. “Okay, enough with the mushy stuff! How about we grab dinner? I know a place that has the best khao pad!”

“Lead the way!” Gemini replied, grateful for Fourth’s easygoing nature.

They walked to the restaurant, laughter filling the air as they continued their conversation. When they arrived, they quickly ordered their food, sharing stories and teasing each other.

Over dinner, Gemini felt a sense of warmth enveloping him. Fourth’s laughter was contagious, and the more they talked, the more Gemini felt a connection he hadn’t anticipated.

As they finished their meal, Fourth leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. “You know, I think we should hang out more often. I’m really enjoying this.”

“Absolutely! I’d love that,” Gemini agreed, feeling his heart swell with happiness.

They left the restaurant, the night air cool and refreshing. As they walked back through the park, Gemini realized he didn’t want the day to end. He wanted to hold onto this feeling, this connection they were building.

As they reached the park entrance, Fourth paused, looking at Gemini with a soft smile. “I had a really great time today. Let’s do this again soon?”

“Definitely! Just let me know when you’re free,” Gemini said, unable to suppress his own smile.

They exchanged goodbyes, and as Gemini walked home, he couldn’t help but replay the day in his mind. The way Fourth made him feel—alive, happy, and hopeful—was something he hadn’t expected.
