The soft light of dawn filtered through the delicate silk curtains of Fourth's bedroom, casting a warm glow over the two figures tangled in the sheets. The cool morning air was a stark contrast to the heat of the previous night, but the memory of their shared passion lingered in the space between them.

Fourth stirred, his eyes slowly opening to the sight of Gemini still asleep beside him, his chest rising and falling peacefully. For a moment, Fourth let himself bask in the quietness of the morning, his heart swelling with the bond they had formed. Last night hadn't been just a moment of fleeting desire-it was something far deeper. A connection that transcended words.

But reality wasn't far behind. Fourth knew that as soon as the palace woke up, they would have to go back to playing their roles-prince and servant, divided by the unbreakable barrier of their status. His stomach twisted at the thought.

Gemini stirred beside him, his eyes slowly fluttering open. He blinked up at Fourth, a sleepy smile tugging at his lips. "Morning," he mumbled softly, his voice still hushed with sleep.

Fourth leaned down and kissed him gently, their foreheads resting against each other as they shared the quiet moment. "Morning," Fourth whispered back, but his heart was heavy.

They both knew that the intimacy of the night couldn't last. The palace, the royal family, the court-none of them would ever allow what they had.

But as Fourth pulled away, staring into Gemini's eyes, he knew he couldn't let it end. Not like this.

"I don't want this to be over," Fourth said softly, his fingers still tracing lazy patterns across Gemini's hand. The warmth between them was undeniable, and the thought of walking away from it made Fourth's heart sink.

Gemini shifted, propping himself up on his elbow as he looked into Fourth's eyes. "Fourth... we can't pretend forever. You know that."

"I'm not asking you to pretend." Fourth's voice was firm, but there was a trace of vulnerability beneath it. "We can be together. Just... in secret. No one has to know."

Gemini's brow furrowed, as if weighing the risk. "You really think we can keep this from your family? From the court? They have eyes everywhere."

"I know," Fourth admitted. "But we'll be careful. I'll make sure no one suspects anything. As far as everyone else is concerned, I'm just another prince, and you're just another servant. But behind closed doors..." He paused, his voice softer now. "We'll be us."

Gemini sat up fully, staring at Fourth with a mix of surprise and concern. "And you're okay with that? Living in secret? Hiding what we have?"

Fourth reached out, cupping Gemini's face with both hands. "If it means I can still be with you, then yes. I'll do whatever it takes."

Gemini closed his eyes, leaning into Fourth's touch for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh. "You're asking me to risk everything."

"I know," Fourth whispered. "But so am I."

There was a long pause, the weight of their decision hanging heavy between them. But then, slowly, Gemini nodded. "Alright. We'll keep it between us. No one has to know."

Relief washed over Fourth, and he pulled Gemini into a tight embrace, burying his face in his shoulder. "Thank you," he murmured. "We'll make it work."

Gemini wrapped his arms around Fourth, holding him close. "We'll make it work," he echoed, though there was a slight hesitation in his voice.

The morning light was growing brighter, and the sounds of the palace waking up began to creep in through the windows. They both knew it was time to go back to their roles, to the lives that waited for them beyond the safety of Fourth's room.
