A few months later, Jimmy came home from a hard day of filming his scenes.
As he walked through the door, I greeted him with a warm smile.

"Hey, sweetheart! How have you been?" he asked, pulling me into a tight embrace.

"It's been okay," I replied, my eyes sparkling with excitement. "I actually got a call about going to the film awards and I'm up for two nominations."

Jimmy's face lit up with pride. "That's fantastic, baby!" he exclaimed, planting a kiss on my forehead. "I've got some news too. I got a call, as well  fingers crossed, we might win some awards!" He paused, his expression turning slightly more serious. "But, uh, there's something I need to tell you." My brow furrowed with concern.

"What is it? What's the matter? Did something happen?" I  asked, my voice laced with worry.

Jimmy took a deep breath. "The role I'm playing in the new movie, it, uh, it involves a kissing scene and a sex scene. But I want you to know that it means nothing to me. I love you, Winter, and it's all just pretend."

I let out a relieved laugh. "Don't be silly, it's just work," I said, placing a reassuring hand on his arm. "I know there's nothing to it. If I get a new role and have a kissing scene, it's just our job. We're still taking it day by day, like I said, no promises. It's not like we're married or even an actual couple or anything."

Jimmy's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. "Maybe not now, but maybe one day," he replied, a playful grin spreading across his face. I rolled my eyes. "You're incorrigible, you know that?" I teased, poking him in the chest.

Until we heard Oliver, crying upstairs caught our attention. He glanced at me.
"Looks like a little man needs his daddy," Jimmy said with a smile as he stood up. "I'll go check on him, I nodded in response as Jimmy made his way up the stairs to the nursery. He opened the door quietly and saw Oliver lying in his crib, tears streaming down his chubby cheeks.

JIMMY
"Hey there, little man," I said softly as I picked up Oliver.

"Did you miss your daddy today?"Oliver's cries seemed to quiet down as he looked up at me with big, teary eyes. I sat down in the rocking chair and began to gently rock back and forth, singing a lullaby.

"Go to sleep, my baby, close your lovely eyes. Go to sleep, my baby, dream and dream away," I sang, my voice soothing and tender.

Oliver's cries slowly subsided as he snuggled closer to my chest, finding comfort in my warm embrace. I continued to sing softly, my heart full of love for his sweet little boy.

After a few minutes, Oliver's eyelids began to droop, weighed down by the melody of my lullaby. I smiled down at Oliver, feeling a sense of peace wash over me.

"Goodnight, my little man. Daddy loves you," I whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to Oliver's forehead. I carefully placed Oliver back in his crib, making sure he was tucked in snugly before turning off the light and tiptoeing out of the room.

As I made my way back downstairs, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Parenthood was full of surprises, but moments like these were what made it all worthwhile.

Winter wasn't anywhere to be seen maybe she had gone to bed.
Quietly made my way into the bedroom, my heart racing with anticipation. As I approached the bed, I caught sight of Winter, dressed in a set of delicate, lacy underwear that accentuated her curves most tantalisingly.
A smile spread across my face as I drank in the sight before me shit she looks good.

"Well, hello, my beautiful lady," my voice was low and husky. Winter turned to face me, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Well, there sexy man, is Oliver asleep?" she asked, her tone playful.
