Eleven...

PERCY'S POV.

Her smile was contagious,it got me smiling too.

"Nice ride..."

She whistled, checking my new Honda out. I was amazed by the look of excitement on her face as she stared at my baby. I didn't know many girls who looked this pleased to be picked up with a moto bike.

"You do know you're different right. Most girls would loose it if I picked them up with this chic" I said with a smile.

"You do know my brother is not your biggest fan right. Let's get going before he sees you and drag me back inside. " she said back.

Smirking, I handed her my helmet and hopped on my baby.

"You ready?... Don't let go of me ok?" I said.
She nodded excitedly and we drove off.

She pulled off the helmet and handed it to me before coming off the bike, swaying a little.

"That was insane! Remind me never to ride with you again ..." She pouted and I  laughed.

"Not so tough huh."

"Are you kidding me? You drive like a mad man! I'm too young to die!!"

She retorted faking a panic and I  laughed more. After I  had calmed down,

"So here we are.."

I announced. She glanced at the gate then smiled at me.

"Let's go."

I pulled her along through the gate. She looked around. It wasn't a mansion or anything. But it was comfortable. It felt like home. I felt at home anytime I was here.

Before we could reach the glass doors, they slid open and a woman stepped out of the door. Even before she could turn her face I knew exactly who it was. I couldn't fight the grin that took over my face.

"Ah, the prodigal son finally decided to come back home!!"

She shrieked,throwing her arms around my neck and hugging me .

"Yes he finally realized he couldn't survive without a mother.."

I said back, laughing a little. I've been laughing more these days than I ever did in my entire life. Something seemed different about me now. Strange...

"Good. But did it have to take that long? I missed you!" Ah, and who is the pretty one?"

She turned to her with a smile..

She fidgetted with the hem of her pink shirt, smiling back nervously.

"Oh hey, Vivi meet Phoebe, my friend from campus....This is my Mother Phoebe....".

"Hello....nice meeting you Mrs. Arrindel.." she said shyly.

"Awwww....isn't she sweet? Come here dear..."

She pulled her into a hug. Saying over her shoulder,

"It would've been much better to hear, Vivi, this Is my girlfriend....but of course..Percy will always be Percy...so secretive..."

She flushed at that and my throat suddenly went dry.

"Don't start..." I warned playfully.

"Well come on in!"

She urshered us into the living room and we took seats beside each other. Vivi walked in again with a tray of snacks.

"Thank you Mrs. Arrindel." She said
