-Aankhein padho aur jaano hamari raza kya hain,
Har baat lafzon se ho toh maza kya hain☾
The atmosphere in the house was filled with unspoken tension as Aina, Dilara, and Wahaj entered the living room. Zaakir Shah's voice boomed through the space, resonating off the walls.
"Kahan gayi thi tum?"
[Where did you go?]
Wahida stood nearby, glaring at the mother-daughter duo, her eyes seething with contempt. Ansar and Zareena were also present, their expressions filled with disgust.
"Hospital gayi thi, Zaakir bhai," Aina replied, attempting to maintain her composure.
[I went to the hospital, Zaakir bhai".]
"Waah, toh ab jhut bhi bolne lagi,"Wahida spat, her voice dripping with disdain.
[Wow, now you have started lying as well.]
"Shahmeer Khan ke ghar kyun gayi thi tum?" Zaakir questioned angrily, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.
"Tumhe kya laga, tum ghar se bahar kahin bhi jaogi aur humein pata nahi chalega?"he continued, his voice filled with authority.[Why did you go to Shahmeer Khan's house? What did you think? That you could go anywhere outside this house, and we wouldn't find out?]
"Aur tum?" Wahida interjected, pointing a finger at Wahaj. "Tum kyun inn maa-beti ke peeche ghoom rahe ho? Kya kaam hain tumhara?"
[And you? Why are you always running after this mother-daughter duo? What's your business with them?]
"Ammi, bas kar dein kya tamasha lagaya hua hain," Wahaj replied, frustration evident in his tone.
[Ammi, please stop, what is this spectacle you're creating?]
"Tum chup karo," Zaakir commanded, directing his ire at Wahaj.
[You keep quiet.]
"Shahmeer Khan ke ghar kyun gayi thi? Kya Izzah wahan hain?" Zaakir questioned, his voice rising with intensity.
[Why did you go to Shahmeer Khan's house? Is Izzah there?]
"Haan," Aina responded quietly, her heart pounding.
[Yes.]
"Dekh rahe hain aap, maine kahan tha na wo manhoos ladki apne aashiq ke saath muh kaala kar rahi hogi," Wahida remarked scornfully.
[Do you see now? I told you, that cursed girl must be ruining her honor with her lover.]
"Toh uske liye bhaagi hain wo," Zareena mocked, a smirk dancing on her lips.
[So that's why she ran away.]
"Wo marzi se nahi bhaagi thi, khaala, maine usse bhagaya tha," Wahaj confessed, his tone turning serious.
[She didn't run away by choice, khaala.
I made her leave.]Surprise spread across Wahida, Zareena, and Zaakir's faces.
Zaakir strode forward, ready to strike Wahaj, but Wahida stepped in, blocking his path.
"Tumhe toh main baad mein dekhta hun," Zaakir said, his voice laced with anger.
[I'll deal with you later.]
"Kya yahi tarbiyat di hain tumne apni beti ko, ameer ghar ke ladko ko fasane ki?" Zareena demanded, his voice harsh.
[Is this the upbringing you've given your daughter? Trapping rich men?]
"Usne kisi ko fasaya nahi hain, Shahmeer Khan ne uski madad ki hain", Aina asserted firmly.
