"Nina and Marisa are responsible for tidying up. Dusting, laundry, changing of bedding, All the things inside the house like that.. Mr. Min has his driver, Gi, he tends to Mr. Min's car and everything else dealing with Mr. Min. Like little errands and things." Mrs. Pen was showing me around the next morning and informing me on how things run in this house. "Your driver is Kelvin, he'll take care of your car and will run errands with you and for you if you need. Once you have children they'll be given a driver once they're of age to need one. Or however many depending on how many children you have. As for the outside of the house...Mr. Levi and Mr. Jax are our prime gardeners, they take care of the yard. Keeping it nice and neat and keeping out unwanted pests... plus they tend to the Trees, ponds and greenhouse.." She continued.

" Mr. Min likes his tangerines and they pay extra attention to the tangerine trees. You can go out and pluck some or have one of them do it each morning, just leave a note for them and they'll do that." She took me on a brief walk outside, to show me the tangerine trees and the neat and trim hedges as well as the green and neat looking grass. It almost looked fake because it looked so nice.
"They also take care of the pool and the lounge area. Now let's head inside and meet Renaldo." She smiled brightly, excitedly showing me around some more before leading me into the kitchen.

"This is Renaldo, Renaldo, this is Mrs. Min. The new lady of the house." She had a big smile and spoke enthusiastically to him.

"Pleasure, Mrs. Min. Welcome home." Renaldo smiled brightly. He looked to be in his late 40's, maybe early 50's, but he was clearly a professional chef. He was currently chopping some cabbage up.

"Pleased to meet you." I replied and tried to smile.

"Mrs. Min, do you have any food allergies I should be aware of, or any foods you're not fond of that I'll avoid making for you?" Renaldo asked.

"I don't think I have any food allergies. I don't like caviar or escargot... Mother used to force me to eat them." I recalled the horrible taste of each and wanted to crawl into a hole somewhere.

"Noted, Mr. Min also isn't too fond of such foods." He replied. I smiled and nodded. Good to know I wasn't the only one who detested them.

"Thank you." I thanked him and he smiled.

"If you need anything, just let me know." He added before I was shown the rest of the property and house. Everything looked clean, neat, from the pool to the garden to the personal gym on the first floor. And my mind went right to my books- If this were a Zombie apocalypse novel, This house could be a reasonable place to survive... from the high walls around the property and the metal gates that I think are pretty secure.. This could be a nice place to stay alive and be alone... I think I liked that idea.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as we got back to the living room.

"That's everything Madam. If there's anything you want to change, just let me know." Mrs. Pen said. I nodded and responded.

"Thank you Mrs. Pen. I think everything is just lovely though, I don't think anything needs changing." I spoke honestly... well mostly. I didn't want to ruffle feathers, I didn't even know what I would want to change. Maybe add some color? Everything was very black, gray, silver, some dark blues sprinkled in but it was rare... and white. She let me be, going back to make sure the house was tidy and everyone was doing what they were supposed to.
I sat in the living room for a bit, I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch TV or what. I just sat there for a bit, looking around at the soft gray furniture with deep blue accent pillows on the sofa and chairs. The huge grayscale painting that hung over the fireplace was quite interesting. The way it went from the blackest of blacks to a deep gray and then to a soft gray like the color of the furniture here and then to a very clean white. I interpreted it as someone shrouded in darkness all their lives, finally being able to break free and find inner peace... it hit rather close to home for me and I didn't even realize there were tears rolling gently down my face.

"Oh! Heavens, Mrs. Min. Are you all right?" A woman dressed in a gray suit said as she entered the room. I didn't even notice her at first, or her heels clinking along the floors.
