Chapter 5: A day with you

Still Maxwell's POV

The next day

I woke up with the sound of my alarm. Today is Saturday kaya walang pasok pero I have some plans. I'm going to Cole and ate Ally's condo kasi Cole and I agreed na ngayon na simulan yung interview habang maaga pa. I already talked nadin kagabi kay ate Mads about Cole wanting to interview her, at first ayaw niya pero I told her na I'll treat her coffee kaya napilit.

After I take a bath ay nagbihis na ako, hoodie and shorts paired with tennis shoes lang ang sinuot ko since kina Cole lang naman ako pupunta. I stared at my reflection in the mirror for a while before getting out of my room and grabbing the keys to my car para maka-alis na ako.

While driving ay naisip ko na dumaan muna sa bakery since I know na ate Ally loves breads and also nakakahiya naman kung aabalahin ko siya tapos hindi ko man lang bibigyan ng kahit ano in return.

I parked my car at the side of the road and immediately went inside the bakery. The smell of newly baked bread welcomes me, I somehow find it relaxing.

There's a lot of bread na naka-display, but the croissant caught my attention kaya I decided na yun nalang ang bibilhin ko.

I remembered nung 9 years old palang ako, I saw 14 year old ate Ally na kumakain ng croissants at kitang-kita ko ang masasayang ngiti niya habang kinakain niya yun.

She's really beautiful, I admit that I used to have a crush on her as a kid, actually siya ang first crush ko pero none of my friends knows, syempre ang weird naman kapag nalaman nilang nagka-crush ako sa ate ng best friend ko na itinuturing din akong baby brother.

I have arrived at their building na, medyo kinakabahan ako tumuloy pero syempre para sa project nilakasan ko ang loob ko pero I feel na my hands are trembling while I'm inside the elevator.

When the elavator stops and the door opens ay agad na akong lumabas and naglakad papunta sa unit ni ate Ally.

I'm now standing in their front door, kinakabahan ako at pinagpapawisan na ng malamig. Finally, I gathered all my courage and ringed their doorbell. Woah, bahala na.

Ate Ally opened the door, she's probably wondering why I'm here because shock is written on her face.

"Jayron?" she said.

"Uhm hi ate Ally" nahihiyang sabi ko sakanya.

"What brings you here? Wala si Cole dito kakaalis lang niya" she replied then gestured me to come inside.

"Actually ate I'm not here for Cole, I'm here for you" I said while we're walking towards the living room.

"Huh? Why me? May kailangan ka ba?" she asked confusedly.

"Yes ate, kailangan namin kasi mag-interview ng college student for our project kaya ikaw naisip ko" I explained.

"And here pala ate, this is for you" I added and then ibinigay ko na ang paper bag na may laman na croissant na binili ko kanina.

"Uyy this is my favorite! Thank you Jayron!" she said excitedly at kumuha ng isang piraso at nagsimulang kainin yun.

She offered me pa nga pero I refused kasi sabi ko na that's for her. She really looks happy right now.

"So, you wanna interview me kaya ka pumunta dito?" she asked while eating.

"Opo ate" I replied.

"Okay, sige mag-start na tayo"

I just nodded and prepared my camera and other things na gagamitin namin throughout the interview.
