Let's talk about Blair for just a minute. Since Lauren probably won't talk about her
background or the cause of her actions.
I will but this is just a head canon. This is what I mostly think of Blair's character in Powerless.
The background I had set up for Blair is that the reason she is the way she was is that her home life is very difficult. Maybe her father the general pushed her more since she is his daughter and doesn't want her to embarrass them.
Then maybe he wasn't there for her when she needed a parent not a teacher. That her dad was a probably abusing her mentally. And that her mother is ether dead or left Blair with her father, So that creates a somewhat of a trigger since of rage of where her ability could have been the only thing she has in her heart. That is like
"WOW. I did this with my powers. That no one else has!" So when someone comes in and messes it up for her. In this case Paedyn or Kai. And takes the only thing she had and that her father is proud off. this anger and envy for Paedyn that in her mind she didn't spend her life training for this. And now somehow she is in the spotlight.
Even if she is the general's daughter?! That is what's happening in her mind. In my opinion, But I know it doesn't justify her killing adena. But we honestly don't know what was going through her head. Maybe to get back at Paedyn for being better than her.
This is not me defending her. It's just a head canon I made up.
