Chapter 28-Why...?

"*Huuuuhaaaa* Good morning me...." I rubbed my sleepy eyes

I looked around the room, I was laying on the sofa surrounded by empty ice cream cartons and popcorn. I guess I fell asleep during the show,even though it was a great show. But I gotta say Tiffany has got to get her shit together that's all. And as for Nicole you need to close them legs, go to church.

I wonder how Vanessa doing? Last night was pretty rough...

I looked over by the big glass windows....she just sat there staring out. She looks numb sorta lifeless, I have never seen her like this before and I hoped I wouldn't have to see her like this ever.

" Hey Vanessa good morning,how did you sleep?"

" I didn't..." Her voice was dull,She kept looking out the window motionless

" You mean you were up all night?"

" I couldn't sleep"

She must have been thinking about yesterday

"Oh girl come here"

I crawled across the couch with open arms and gave her a big hug.

" It's hard but, it's gonna be okay. Your gonna be okay, it's just a really hard time right now. You'll get through it I know you will."

For a moment she said nothing than,turned around and gave me tight hug..

" It hurts....everything hurts..." She softly spoke through her tears

" I know, I know but your strong you can do it "

I could feel her warm tears as they dripped on my shoulder.

"Hey hey it's fine" I picked her head up

Her eyes were all puffy and red...she had been crying all night.

I wiped the tears falling from her cheeks.

" Look at me I'm here for you, your not alone and I want you to know that I fully support you with your decision."

" Really?" She sniffled

" Of course, if I can't talk you out of it might as will support you with it."

" Oh Sasha...thank you. Your amazing....Your truly the best friend anyone can ever have" she cried even harder and hugged me tighter

" We'll I'm your best friend and I will always be there for you always....and You know if you squeeze me any tighter Ima pop"

" oh sorry" she smiled

" See there's the smile"

We had a one of those moments those hug moments were you feel warm inside because you know you have each other's back...like one of the Disney or whatever moments.

" Wait...SHIT what time is it?!" I quickly jumped off the couch to the clock in the hallway"

" SHIT! I gotta go or I'll be late for work!....again!"

"Your going to work today?"

" Yeah the band has a review and practice and I already missed last week so I have to go. I'm really sorry"

" No it's fine I mean it's your job. please I don't want to be a bother I can just go"

" Are you kidding me girl? No you can stay at my house I really don't mind. Here.."

I tossed the tv remote at her

" You can just relax and watch some TV ,I have Netflix huluplus and all the channels."
