The trees were whizzing past, they could only be seen as faint blurs. The sky was grey-blue and dark, much different compared to the weather yesterday but that was also a normal thing in England. Drops were sliding down the window where my forehead rested, I'd been sleeping for one hour and there was still another to go.
Serena had given me her extra phone, one that I couldn't even afford, telling me that she wouldn't be able to call but would try at least. Taking it out of my pocket, I turned it on and began scrolling on TikTok, an app that I hardly used. I was bored, just scrolling which was something I did not like doing so instead I took out a book and began reading, instantly forgetting everything that was happening around me.
The announcement had suddenly been made, reminding me that time was running out, I was now in Manchester. This was where my journey began.

I never knew that Serena was that rich, I was making my way to a different train station that was much easier to find than I had thought. She'd given my a lot of money as well as an expensive phone and resources that I hadn't even thought of, myself, that would be useful for my survival. These days you needed WI-FI to survive and she had provided me with absolutely everything.
Walking around the city helped me realise one thing, a lot of people in this city were young which meant there were possibly a lot of gangs hanging around the never ending alleyways that I seemed to be passing by every now and then.
There were also lots of pubs, I've seen lots of pubs in one city and now I knew that England was probably made up of pubs. It was crazy, in every corner of this place there seems to be a pub whether it was bustling and overcrowded or isolated, absolutely empty, or it was an old little building or an expensive modern styled one.
My feet were burning as I felt a small bumps under my feet, probably the blisters that were now forming after the long walk around the city.
This city was much bigger than my own with its fancy shops lined in neat rows, more people walking around and just everything. It was much different to what I'd experienced my whole life.
I don't know why but I looked dodgy, like a drug dealer myself, my bag could have contained anything including weapons and right now, buried at the bottom of my bag was a knife that had been sharpened till perfection.
I was already in enough trouble yet here I was not making it any better, the further I went, the worse it got.
