Elijah's POV

Emily hadn't came out of her room all day which I was absolutely grateful for. I had forgotten about her until she messaged me, which I obviously left on read. It was a spare phone that I kept with a number I never used.

It just lay in an empty drawer in the corner of my office. I had all my men ready for the plan, we had paid one of their fake member to give us information of her whereabouts. He actually worked in my business and he knew a lot about the gang Yulia had been taken by. Poor Sam, though he'd get the blame for something he never did, it was all for a good cause. There was a reason why I had chosen Omar, his degrees in Performing Arts was spectacular and I knew he was a man for this job. All I had to do now was sort the issue with Emily Hodge.

"Umm. H-hey. What have you been up to?" She smiles at me with her fake innocence as she hides her face with the sleeve of her huge jumper. Her face was bright red as well as her eyes, swollen and puffy from crying. She knew how to act. I scoff at her before smirking, making her shift uncomfortable.

"Why the fuck do you care? Why are you so nosy? Go bother someone else." I can see the tears building up in her eyes and I smile, a wicked grin that I love. The power surges into me as I see her vulnerability. Suddenly she slams her fists on the table and stands up.

"You know what? You can fuck off. I only did this to save your reputation from being ruined by a gold digger. I tried so hard for you, everyday you torture me with your cruelty. Why can't you change for me? You know she never loved you. I deserve better. I'm part of your social class, not that pauper." She leans closer and glares at me, I don't know what she expected. Me to be shocked and think about how much she hurt me? I cackle at her stupid outburst, at her useless glare that does nothing to trigger me.

"You want me to change for YOU?" I spit the words at her before shaking my head.

"You're the gold digger here. You have a child and pretend it's mine even though we signed a contract saying we'd never get close or even have kids. I let you fuck with some guy you were desperate for on one condition, you don't ever speak about Yulia. Don't even think about her. And here you are daring to speak back at me, raise your voice in my house. You do know what I'm capable of." I stand in front of her, towering her but she doesn't back down, I don't know why but I know she was also planning something behind my back.

"You didn't save my reputation, you ruined my life as well as your own. And that's your punishment. As for your stupid threats from the start, I don't think they'll have any effects anymore. So I'll be bringing in some divorce papers soon. I'm ending this fake marriage."

She still doesn't look down or anywhere else, instead her eyes are fixed on mine.

Out of nowhere she pulls my head, crashing her lips onto mine as she moans, a dirty sound that I want to flee from. She grips my hands and put them on her waist. Instead I squeeze her hips painfully, knowing that her skin will be bruised. I pull away from her and push her back and she begins to slur like a whore.

"I love you baby. Just admit that you love me. You're too scared to admit it. Don't worry, I won't mock you for it." She looks deeply into my eyes with longing and lust. All I can see is love but I know it's fake, all an act to get me to sign the contract giving her a shared amount of money from my wealth. Instead I spit on her, wiping all her filthy trails from my mouth with water before storming towards her and slamming her aggressively against the walls.

I hear her grunt in pain and I begin to strangle her, taking away her supply of oxygen.

"You diry bitch, you hoe. You think you can touch me when you like? You think you can kiss me when you want? You think you give me butterflies in my stomach like Yulia did? Let me correct you, you are nothing but a worthless piece of shit in my eyes. You expect me to offer you my body like you're a goddess?

You don't deserve anything." With that I slap her hard across her face, I've never hit a woman, and I've never hit anyone that hard before but I loved it. The power and control made me crave for more.

Before she could even speak again, blood dripping from her mouth, I punched her right in the jaw and watched her collapse onto the ground then spitting out a mixture of blood and teeth and wailing like a baby.

"I'm going to call the police. And once you're safely behind bars, watch what I do to Yulia." She growling at me as she keeps upright with her palms on the ground. Her threats don't do anything to anger me but the mention of Yulia's name and her threat of hurting Yulia burns me. Before I can even stop myself, I kick her right in the face, her head slamming back into the wall as she leaves a spot of red on it, her nose begins to bleed. I probably cracked her head as she begins to clutch her head tightly and scream in agonising pain.

"You touch Yulia, you won't even live another second more. Understood?" I hiss at her as she frantically nods before speaking.

"Can you call a doctor? Please?" She's begging me for help but I refuse her useless pleas. The pain she put through Yulia gets to me. Instead, I gesture for my loyal guard to make an appearance and throw her into the mansion's secret underground cells. I see her eyes widening in horror as she realises her death is sooner than she had thought.

I watch with great interest as Emily gets dragged down the mansion, into the cells by Simon, leaving a long trail of sticky blood. Simon was the first one to encourage me that she deserved all this torture and I knew he would do a great job paining her. I make my way towards my office again after cleaning my mouth, I make a few calls to sort the plan out before retreating to my bedroom. Tonight I'll be able to sleep knowing well enough that Yulia will be in my arms shortly.
