The drive to iHop was nice. Mickey had the radio on for once so there was some music playing. I was in the passenger seat leaving Oswald and Felix in the back.

During the times I have gotten a ride from them, Felix and Oswald didn't really do anything aside from holding hands or cuddling. But right now they were making out in the back seat.

"I swear to whatever God you believe in, if you have sex in my car!" Mickey threatened them

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Are you laughing?" Oswald asked me, "You're laughing! You're not broken!"

"Our baby boy has feelings!" Felix cheered and kissed my cheek

"Hell yeah!" Oswald also kissed my cheek

Mickey pulled into the parking lot, "It's nice to see you smile and laugh again."

I hid my face in my hands to hide my blush. I love my friends, I really do. It's just that they get a little too excited and rambunctious at times.

We all exited the car and headed inside. There were more people inside than we expected.

"How many?" The hostess asked us

"Four." Mickey told her

"Can I get a name?"

"Mickey."

"Okay, there will be a 30 minute wait time." She told us

We decided to wait in the parking lot for a little bit. As we waited for our table Mickey did a cartwheel, Oswald tried to follow but ended up failing and fell.

"Okay how are you so much better at this than I am?" Oswald fake pouted

"Cause you said that gymnastics were for girls and didn't go to classes as frequently as I did." Mickey reminded him

Felix giggled and also did a successful cartwheel. Oswald playfully growled at him and grabbed Felix and spun him around making him laugh and giggle.

Mickey went inside for a moment, then stuck his head out, "Come on."

Oswald sat Felix down, but held his hand as we headed inside. Mickey smiled still in good spirits. The hostess led us to a booth and handed us menus.

"Your server will be with you in a moment." She said leaving

"Do we have a spending limit?" I asked

"There's no limit. Just pick whatever you want to eat."

I nod and looked at the menu trying to figure out what I wanted to eat. There were a lot of items and some of them didn't relate to breakfast.

"Hello there, I'm Lindsey and I will be your server. Can I start you guys off with some drinks?" Our server asked us taking out a notepad

After ordering our drinks we talked a bit more until we heard a girl, "Mickey!"

Thankfully he was on the outside of the booth, but he was next to me meaning that I kinda got pushed.

"Minnie? What are you doing here?" He asked her gently pushing her away

"Well you weren't in school Friday and then you yelled at me. You hurt me, Mick. So me and some friends went out to eat." She explained scooting into the booth

"Minnie I apologized for that and I promise to hang out with you next weekend. For now I want to spend time with my family." Mickey explained to her

She looked at me and Felix, "Those two aren't your family. Only Oswald is."

"Minnie listen, you can choose who your family is. Yes Ozzy is my biological brother, but Brenda is my adoptive sister."

I know that he didn't mean to dead name me, he was doing it to protect me. Minnie is homophobic and will go out of her way to make sure that everyone in the entire school knows that I'm trans. She did it to some poor kid our freshman year and made their life hell. They either transferred or took their life, I don't remember. It was just awful.

"And since Ozzy and Felix have been dating for years it's safe to say that he's my brother in law. So yeah, they're my family." Mickey told her

She leaves glaring at us. By us I mean everyone, but Mickey.

"Seriously why aren't you dumping her?" Oswald asked his brother

"I ask myself that every single day. I want to, believe me I do. But when I want to finally say it she does something nice for me. Or someone tells me that I'm such a good boyfriend to her." Mickey sighed, "Then I feel guilty for even thinking about breaking up with her."

"Damn... Do you think it's mom and dad's influence on us?"

Mickey shrugged, "Maybe."

Mickey and Oswald don't live with their parents. Their parents are kinda homophobic, but not totally. They support Oswald, but they keep reminding him that women exist. So Oswald moved out and took Mickey with him. They aren't any better to Mickey. Minnie isn't his first girlfriend, he's dated other girls before. Their parents just never approved of them, Minnie was the only one that got the pass. The girls that didn't get the pass, Mickey broke up with them per request of their parents. He got yelled at and scolded for breaking those poor girls' hearts.

"Bendy, do you know what you want to eat?" Felix asked me

"This." I pointed to it.

"That looks so good, but the bananas are a no go for me." He said

The server, Lindsey came back with our drinks and asked us about our order. We told her and she wrote it down.

"Oh uh, I was going to tell you this, but I forgot till now. Apparently we got invited to a casino. It just showed up in the mail with my name on it." I told them.

"Do you know the owner or something?" Mickey asked me

"That's the thing. I don't know anyone that owns a casino. Even if I did, I would've met them when I was a baby or a toddler. My mom barely knew anyone." I explained

"That's weird. Are you gonna go?" Felix asked

"Joey is making us go. He wants to see who it is and that also means that I have money that he can take from me." I sighed

"Hope you have fun." Oswald said smiling

"Yeah. It might be a gun party. I mean it's at a casino of all places." Mickey ruffled my hair

Our server arrived with our food and we thanked her and I finally got to eat something. Best of all... I don't feel sick while eating.

Best day ever.
