A/N: If you haven't read my changes to my second chapter then this won't make any sense.
I'd just put my phone down on my desk when I felt the air tighten around me, the darkness closed in and I was zooming through a tunnel of shadows.
I arrived in a forest with snow covering the ground. I noticed a nearby cave, I felt the fear emitted from it but it just pulled me towards it. I stumbled through that cave, hands groping for a nearby wall or rock. When I eventually emerged from the dark entrance I was surrounded by a castle, made entirely by shadow.
The castle took my breath away as it stretched upwards for miles, the architecture was amazing and yet I couldn't quite make out the patterns because the shadows kept shifting, kept changing shape. Dark horses of shadow flew around and ghosts hung in cloaks of black, reminding me of Dementors of Harry Potter and of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings.
My sight-seeing was cut short as a young boy, strode towards me. He was pale and really skinny, his black hair flopped over his eyes and he seemed to remind me a lot of Nico di Angelo from Percy Jackson, as it turns out his name is actually Keoki, meaning farmer. Brilliant to find out now (at the age of twelve) that I've got a brother - after all these years!
