Chapter 1: Welcome to the Real World

Riddle had his arms crossed as he sternly stared at Ace, waiting.

Ace, being confused and having one brain cell asked.

"What?"

"What?..... What!? You're supposed to be feeding the hedgehogs! It's your turn for this week!!"

"Eh!? Can't Juice do it!?"

"No! Unlike you, he's tending the flamingos so quit standing there and off you go or else it's OFF With YOUR HEAD!"

Ace gulped and quickly ran off where the hedgehogs were.

Riddle sighed and rubbed his head.

"Those two are gonna give me headaches until I graduate."

A green haired student with a clover mark came from behind and placed a gentle hand on Riddle's shoulder.

"Oh c'mon Riddle, they're still learning the rules."

Another student appeared with a diamond mark.

"Ace and Deuce have been getting it, just need a little more time."

"Cater, I gave them, as well as the rest of the freshman's a few days to learn the Queen's rules yet if they kept on failing to understand them, I won't be kind."

Riddle huffed and went back into the dorm.

"Trey, Cater, keep an eye on those two.... Make sure they're doing what they're supposed to do and do not let them get distracted again...."

Trey and Cater mentally sighed but nodded and walked away.

Riddle huffed but remember the sugar cubes and tea need refills.

And off he went to get them done.

Yet a student quickly came before him.

"Riddle, the headmaster is requesting your presence as his office. Says it's an emergency."

Riddle raised an eyebrow, not having been informed of any meeting nor is it the usual housewarden meeting.

"Very well, I'll be on my way."

"Oi! Juice-"

Ace got cut off as a branch got thrown at him.

"Not gonna tell you again! It's Deuce! DEUCE!!"

"Alright! Alright!"

Deuce heavily sighed as he tensed the flamingos.

Ace struggled not to laugh at his pink outfit.

"What?"

"Is that really what you're wearing? Pft!"

"Hey!! It's the only pink outfit I have!!"

Deuce had a blush and embarrassed expression while looking away from Ace.

Ace laughed while he kept feeding the hedgehogs.

And he got bit by one of them cause he accidentally poked them.

Cue, Deuce chuckling at the scene.

Ace got pissed and threw a twig at Deuce.

Next thing you know is they're wrestling within the Rose maze.

"Alright! That's enough! C'mon, let's go before Riddle gets pissed and it's off with our heads."

Ace rolls his eyes but stands back up and not even bothering to dust himself.
