Chapter 3

Riddle huffed and rubbed his head, stressed as he paced back and forth in his office.

Just as a Heartslabyul student enters and is about to speak.

"Riddle-"

"WHAT!?"

The student flinched and trembled, shakily replying as he bowed at 90 degrees.

"T-trey-senpai and Cater-senpai a-are asking for you in the Rose maze"

Riddle heavily sighed and nodded.

"Right..... Dismissed."

The student wasted no time and frantically left."

"NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS!!"

"H-HAI!!"

Riddle took a deep breath and made his way out and off to the maze.

Trey and Cater were investigating the area where they saw Ace and Deuce before disappearing.

"This is weird...... Cater, this isn't the time for pictures."

"But we gotta have evidence Trey."

"True but what kind of evidence will it do if it's a bunch of twigs and- Eh!? The hedgehogs!?"

Trey mentally panicked when seeing the cages open and Cater seeing the flamingos were loose as well.

"C-crap! Riddle's gonna cut our heads off!"

Cater went and immediately went and tried to get the flamingos back while Trey was scurrying to get the hedgehogs yet they kept running past his legs and into the rose bushes.

Riddle arrived and was furious at the scene.

"What's the meaning of this!?"

Cater and Trey flinched a bit.

Cater tried to stop two flamingos that were fighting while Trey was carrying a few hedgehogs and one climbing on his shoulder.

"A-apologies Riddle-san! We came and they were like this!"

Riddle heavily exhaled and remembered Ace and Deuce were tending to them earlier.

Meaning they must've vanished while doing their tasks.

"Trey, Cater, explain what happened exactly and don't leave anything behind."

"Well you two are sure hungry."

You chuckled while seeing Ace and Deuce eating sliced pieces of fruits you laid on a napkin.

You brought a bowl of fruits, a few napkins, and a small knife to slice them.

Yes, you cut them as small as you could get it still looked a bit large to them.

"Ha! I bet you can't lift a grape!"

Ace mocked while his trembling arms were carrying a strawberry (a normal strawberry).

Before falling as the strawberry slumped on his back.

Deuce huffed and easily climbed into the fruit bowl and lifted a grape, that looked like a huge watermelon due to his tiny size.

"Ha! Look at you!"

"Shut up!"

You held back a laugh and lifted the strawberry off of Ace who exhaled and stood up, before going and tackling Deuce and both of them wrestling.
