ch 10 Meet The Parents

Winnie howled as she placed a Jack-O-Lantern on the window sill.

"This is gonna be our happiest Halloween ever!" Winnie said.

"Because we have a trophy to show off at our open house" Tanis said holding the trophy.

"Open house? Is that like a party?" Scrappy asked as everyone was decorating.

"It's only the biggest event of the Grimwood School year" Skellie said hanging up a spider decoration.

"Will there be food?" Shaggy asked as he and Scooby placed their Jack-O-Lanterns on the table.

The spider decoration dangled infront of them startling them.

"Yeah, lots of goodies. Miss Grimwood is in the Kitchen right now, baking up a storm" Skellie said.

"Like what are we waiting for? Come on!" Shaggy said.

"Rexcue us" Scooby said as the boys ran for the kitchen.

In the kitchen Hand was helping Miss Grimwood stir a bowl.

"Oh, I just love making brownies" Miss Grimwood said.

"Brownies?! Oh boy!" Scooby said as he and Shaggy arrived.

"Like can we give you a hand, Miss Grimwood?" Shaggy asked.

Hand dumped the bowl in the baking tray.

"Thanks, Shaggy. I've already got one" Miss Grimwood said.

Hand brought the bowl over to Shaggy and Scooby.

"But you can lick the bowl" Miss Grimwood said.

"Like thanks" Shaggy said.

"Reah, Rhanks" Scooby said.

Miss Grimwood put the brownies in the oven.

"Alright, Matches. Ready to bake a batch of brownies?" Miss Grimwood asked the dragon.

"Yeah!" Matches growled out.

Matches blew fire on the brownie tray.

"Mmm! Something smells rotten!" Sibella said entering the kitchen.

Shaggy sniffed the air.

"Like you said it, Sibella" Shaggy said as he and Scooby tasted the brownie mix.

"Reah! Really rotten" Scooby said.

Hand held out the brownie tray for Sibella to see.

"Deliciously rotten! Swamp brownies fresh from the oven" Sibella said.

"Made with slimy swamp water. Chock full of mosquitoes" Miss Grimwood said.

"Zoinks! Like there's itchin' in the kitchen, Scoob!" Shaggy said as he and Scooby started scratching.

"Reah!" Scooby said laughing.

"Phantasma, are those caterpillar cookies ready to bake yet?" Miss Grimwood asked.

Phantasma was chasing bugs with a net.

"They will be as soon as I catch 'em" Phantasma said giggling.

"Like this kitchen's just crawling with snacks, Scooby!" Shaggy said as they tried not to step on the bugs.

"Reah!" Scooby said.

"Nothing's too good for our guests" Phantasma said chasing the bugs through the wall.

"Gee, who's coming to this open house anyway?" Scrappy asked Sibella.

"Everyone, Scrappy! My Daddy, Dracula" Sibella said holding up a picture of a bat.

"That's your Daddy?" Scrappy asked.
