Maddie couldn't do it. She handed Paige the book and let her read,
"Kalani, you are next on my list. You left me in so much pain and confusion. You treated me like garbage, but only when the popular girls were watching. You said you loved me like a sister and then you would say you don't deserve to live go die. So i did. Maddie don't kick Kalani out because she was on both lists: reasons and friends. Kalani, you don't even know how much it hurt the first day that you betrayed me, that first day you, one of my best friends, called me trivial and pathetic. Those words felt like a knife stabbing over and over again. You hurt me Kalani, you hit me hard, but i still love you
