Alastor had convinced Adam to take Nifty out for a walk. Adam was silently following Nifty, smiling softly at the woman's excitedness. Nifty giggled evilly, looking at a nearby sinner who gave Adam a look she didn't like. Adam picked her up. "No, you don't need to attack everyone you see." Adam said.

"Awww." Nifty said, but continued her running around after Adam set her down again. Adam was eight months along, though his baggy robe hid it quite well. Nifty ran towards Adam, holding a wiggling roach. "Look what I caught!" She said.

Adam smiled awkwardly. He never liked bugs. "Very nice Nifty." Adam said, closing his eyes and patting Nifty's head. Nifty giggled before stabbing the roach with a knife, spreading the guts everywhere. Adam chuckled, shifting away from it. "Come on, Alastor won't be happy if we don't return by noon." Nifty grumbled but followed Adam, always threateningly raising her knife if someone got to close to one of her new "friends" or "bad boys".

Adam was smiling at that, his wings ruffling, catching Nifty's attention. he stared at the silky feathers before jumping at them, climbing onto Adam's wing, which was his intention. "SO FLUFFYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Nifty yelled into Adam's wing, her eye shining.

They were walking back to the hotel when Adam saw an ice cream place. "Nifty, what about ice cream?" Adam asked, which caused Nifty to agree in nearly ten million ways. Adam grinned and walked toward it, moving swiftly across the street as he entered, Nifty jumping off his wing to go look at the flavors.

"Can I get mint?" Nifty asked. Adam nodded and got her the ice cream cone, paying for it before giving it to her.

Adam looked at his wrist watch. "Oh shit!" He swore, starting to lead Nifty out of the ice cream shop. "We only have ten minutes to get back."

They walked quickly down the street. Clouds were rolling in above them, and it started to rain. Adam used his wing to cover Nifty from it while getting soaked in the icy water himself. Thunder rolled above them and lightning was striking. Hell always had bad storms, and it usually caused fires.

Nifty whimpered as she cuddled close to Adam. She had finished her ice cream a while ago. "It's alright Nifty." Adam said, softly petting her head as lightning stuck, hitting a nearby building. It caused an explosion, and Adam had shielded Nifty with his body, though they were both sent flying. Purple fire burned all around them. Adam's vision was becoming blurry as he tried to stay awake.

Nifty was shaking him. Adam passed out.

Nifty was panicking. She grabbed Adam's phone, looking in his contacts and clicking the first hotel member she saw, which was Vaggie.

"What Adam?" Vaggie asked over the phone.

Nifty was panting. "Adam's hurt!"

"WHAT?!" Vaggie yelled over the phone.

"Purple fire everywhere!"

"Hang in there! We'll be there shortly!"

A few minutes later, everyone shown up. Lucifer instantly ran over, falling to his knees beside Adam. "Oh shit..." He mumbled, putting his arms under Adam's body and lifting him in a bridal style, carrying him. Charlie was worried. They all took Adam back to the hotel.

It was a few days later before Adam regained consciousness, and he heard the sound of a child crying beside him. Adam turned his head, his half-closed eyes landing on Lucifer, who was holding a child, trying to calm her down. Adam reached out a hand, touching Lucifer's leg, startling the king as he stared at the child.

Lucifer smiled, leaning over and kissing Adam's forehead before he gave the child her bottle, making her fall silent. Adam open his mouth to speak, but pain shot through his body, silencing him.

"You had complications with her after the explosion, she had to come out early. You both would've died if we hadn't done so." Lucifer explained, softly rubbing Adam's shoulder. Adam looked around. The room was mixed between his own and Lucifer's, they must've merged their rooms into Lucifer's while he was out.

Adam looked to the child. Their child. He wanted to ask what her name was, but he didn't open his mouth.

Lucifer answered his unasked question. "Her name is Cynthia." Lucifer said softly. A look of worry went over his face as Adam sat up, but his face softened when he saw Adam reach his hands out for his child.

Lucifer softly put Cynthia in Adam's arms, and he held her close. She had Adam's cedar brown hair though having lighter streaks in it like Lucifer's, her skin was white, she had rosy cheeks, butterfly-like eyelashes, yellow scleras and black pupils.

Adam smiled fondly down at the child who stared right back at him with her innocent, shining eyes.
