Falling (ADAMSAPPLE)

Bleeding

Lucifer woke up to soft sobs. His eyes fluttered open, his eyes widening when he saw Adam sobbing beside him, not wearing his robe, his bandages visible. He shot up, looking at Adam. Adam's hands were covering his face. "Adam, look at me." Lucifer said, softly touching Adam's arm. Adam pulled his hands away from his wet face and he opened, his eyes, looking at Lucifer. Lucifer felt his blood run cold. Adam's eyes were purple.

Lucifer went into panic mode. "Alright,  A- Adam, tune her o-" Lucifer started to say, but gasped when he was attack and pinned to the bed, Adam's hand firmly around his throat, choking him slowly. Lucifer gasped, clawing at Adam's hand and wrist. Eyes appeared on Lucifer's chest and legs.

Lucifer, in an act of instinct, kicked Adam, sending him flying and hitting a wall, falling to his hands and knees. The loud crash had woken Cynthia, who had been put in her crib by Charlie when they were sleeping. She started to cry.

Lucifer froze, his extra eyes disappearing as he ran over to Adam. His wounds were bleeding again. Adam was coughing, and his now-golden eyes looked at Lucifer. Blood started to leak from his mouth.

The door burst open and the others stood there, all bed ridden. Husk, Nifty and Angel ran over to Cynthia to try and stop her from crying while the others helped Adam to the bed. They quickly changed the bandages, while trying to stop the bleeding. The bandages were soaked through in a few moments. Adam's bleeding wasn't stopping. They took the bandages off, the wound from Adam's chest down his body bleeding rapidly, staining the bed sheets. Charlie put pressure on the wound, but it wasn't helping, only getting her hands bloody.

Lucifer was panicking as he watched his love bleed out. Why did he have to kick him?! Adam looked toward Lucifer from his spot laying down, his face blank. He looked nearly dead. The life was draining from his eyes. "No, no, no!" Lucifer said, rushing over to Adam, softly taking his face in his hands. "D- don't die on me!"

Adam smiled softly up at Lucifer, his eyes closing, his body going limp. "A- Adam..?" Lucifer said, his eyes widening. "ADAM!" Tears entered Lucifer's eyes, running down his cheeks. Lucifer fell to his knees on the floor, sobbing into his hands. He felt many arms wrap around him.

Charlie had started to cry too, and Vaggie looked sad, though she wasn't crying. Alastor's smile was softer, and he looked like he was feeling pity, Angel, Husk and Nifty had sad expressions. Cynthia had started to cry loudly again.

"No, please..." Lucifer mumbled as he opened his eyes, looking at the body of Adam with a teary gaze.

I cried while writing this, though anyways, I am getting motivation to write this again, but ideas are appreciated!
