Months passed, and life slowly began to return to a new kind of normal. Aarav and Aarohi continued to pursue their dreams, carrying their father’s memory with them in everything they did. They often visited the old man’s favorite spot at the train station, where they would sit in quiet reflection, feeling his presence around them.
One day, as Aarav sat alone on the platform, a little boy approached him, holding a small flower. The boy handed it to him with a shy smile. "My grandpa told me to give this to someone who looks sad," the boy said.
Aarav took the flower, his heart swelling with emotion. "Thank you," he whispered, watching the boy run back to his family. He looked up at the sky, feeling a sense of peace he hadn’t felt in a long time.
His father’s love had been a guiding light, even in the darkest of times. And now, as Aarav looked toward the future, he knew that love would continue to guide him and Aarohi, just as it always had.
The old man’s legacy wasn’t just in the sacrifices he made, but in the strength and love he had instilled in his children. And that, Aarav realized, was something that would never fade.
As he stood up to leave, Aarav whispered a silent promise to his father. "I’ll make you proud, Dad."
And with that, he walked away from the platform, his heart a little lighter, knowing that his father’s spirit would always be with him, watching over him, guiding him, and reminding him that even in the darkest moments, love could light the way.
