"I am tired, Can't we just leave now Dhruvi"A very tired voice came from behind of Dhruv."I was going to let you rest, but not after that name"
Being offended Diya came running infront of him while he was jogging.
"Kyu!? teri crush ka naam nhi tha kya?"
(Why!? Wasn't it your crush's name?)

With out a reply he flicked her forehead which had confusing creases, erasing them and jogged away.
While She stood their with an angry face, rubbing her forehead cursing him under her breathe.

Few minutes later enough of her cursing she started moving towards him while while watching the very few people around them.

It was around 5 in the morning when Diya was taken away from her cozy bed because her best friend wanted her to be fit, for a morning walk.

The sky was a little grey this time, maybe it was going to rain and people like Diya hated this weather.

A little blow of wind flew few strands of her hair and as it did she marched back towards Dhruv.

"OK, don't look at me like that we will be living in a minute" She sighs and sat on the nearest bench placed around them.

Her eyes roaming around the garden like a lost puppy, until it turned into horror. Before the person could say anything Diya grabbed Dhruv's arm and started walking back towards her apartment.

"What happened?" His voice sound concerning but right now nothing felt right to Diya. She just wanted to be away from that particular person who was just standing at a little distance from them, seeing them walk away tge person too started coming towards them.

"Diya!"
A familiar female voice reached in Dhruv's ears making him turn towards the owner. As soon as he turned his confusing eyes turned into Shocked for a moment before it disappeared.

"Ragini Mishra" His voice came as low as a whisper. The grip of the hand on his arm loosened, Diya ran off with eyes brimming with tears of the moments of last year.

"Diya, wai-" before the sentence could be finished the figure was disappeared from his sight. Dhruv turned to find Ragini standing behind him.

"Why are you here?"

"Can't I come to visit my own daughter?" The counter question made him scoff at her face. "Own daughter"
Was repeated by Dhruv with anger and disgust dripping from his voice.

"I am her mother Dhruv, you-"
"The mother who ignored her own daughter and ran behind money, the mother who only looked after her elder daughter because she could earn. The mother who sold her daughter for the fucking sake of money"
"Its shaming that you are that mother of the daughter, who only loved one thing in this whole world-" A deep breathe was took by him before he finished.  "And that was none other than money"

"You are none to say this to me"
The angry woman replied to Dhruv before he could speak further.
And instead of replying he only scoffed which only fueled Ragini.

"Of course I am none but you better stay away from her, you are elderly lady and that too mother of my friend, so it's my humble request to you to please go away" The Humble request didn't seemed to sound like one.
But who cared, Dhruv turned on his heels and walked towards the way where Diya ran off.

Opening the door slowly Dhruv entered the house with a bag of food items.
His eyes searched for Diya but were failed as she wasn't present in the hall.
So thinking she might be in her room Dhruv walked to her room door but halted at his steps.

Sniffing and Crying.

He could hear her sniff and sobs as the door wasn't closed properly. He reached for the handle but stopped on his movements, thinking of giving her space.

Deciding to cook for his Best Friend he turned towards the kitchen.
While not having a single knowledge about cooking even though his best friend was a Chef.

He looked for the rice but ended up making the jar full of flour fall on him.
He huffed.

Stupidough

He looked absolutely like an agent on a mission to make his beloved happy.
