𝑲𝑨𝑻𝑬 𝑾𝑶𝑲𝑬 𝑼𝑷 to see Hayley being carried in by John, she was tied to the chair next to her mother.
"What did you do to her?"
He sighed, "I will fix her, Kate. Someone has to. You gave her a curse and I will teach her how to control it before she hurts someone or herself."
Hayley slowly opened her eyes and looked down before turning to her mother.
"Mommy?"
Kate gasped, "Honey it's okay." She breathed out, forcing a smile, "It's okay, I'm alright."
She turned back to him, "John, please don't do this. Please, stop." He shook his head, ignoring her pleading and went on to turn on the dial.
Kate began to panic even more, no longer caring about anything but the safety of her daughter, "I said stop!" She screamed so loud that the room began to shake.
John fell to the ground, his hands on his ears while Kate broke free, hurrying to free Hayley as well.
She picked her up and began to run away.
John let out a frustrated sigh before beging to chase them.
"You cannot hide from me Kate!" He screamed, walking down the dark hallway.
Kate began to run faster, when she reached outside, it was snowing and she was breathing heavily while carrying a crying Hayley in her arms.
"Listen to me." She turned to her, "There's a gun in the top drawer on my side of the bed, when I say run, you run. You'll go and get it for me alright?"
"Why is he doing this?" Hayley asked and Kate sighed, "To win the game. It's just a game but if you get the gun we'll win and I'll take you to eat ice cream. Okay?"
Hayley smiled a little and gave her mother a nod.
Before she could say anything else a hand grabbed her shoulder and turned her around, she quickly let Hayley down before John punched her in the face cursing her to fall down.
Hayley let out a cry, "Hayley run!" Kate demanded and she listened.
Kate quickly stood up and held her hands up, starting to scream again cursing a wave to hit John making him fall to the ground.
Hayley quickly run back into her house and up the stairs to her parent's bedroom.
She opened the draws and grabbed the gun before quickly running back down.
