Chapter 10...

Bondita studdered when she came in contact with the chilly atmosphere of the main hall. Just like the surroundings, her mind was also crowded with incertitude. It was chaos. She was trying to arrange the chain of events and process them. So, first she found THE BOOK in anirudh's study, which was peculiar since the book only had one copy. She knew all this because it was meant for her. It was one of the two books her baba had finished writing just before he got into that dreaded accident. She was certain because it had the same cover as the first book with the same title: OUR PROPHECY. It belonged to her!! She was the true owner!! She had been searching for it since she found out that a second part did exist. She was so close. To him. NOOO!! So close to the book. She could have had it if she wasnt distracted...by him. How could she just leave it there when she had the chance!! It was her parents's last relic. She could still remember that night...

"Baba! Maa! Where are you both going. Take me with you too. Dont leave me alone." a ten year old requested her parents.

" Mishti dont worry we are just going to see a friend. We'll be back in no time . And then we could go to have kulfis when we return." her baba promised.

"okay.." mumbled the little girl.

That was the last words she had exchanged with them. She knew them by heart just like a poem.

She could hear the quite whispers outside her room. She didnt care what they were saying because her whole world had already crumbled. There was nothing to care about.

"You are going to tell her!! She is just a child. How will we explain to her that her Maa Baba...We cant do that." a female voice echoed outside her door.

"We have to. Till how many days are you planning to hide it."  the male voice replied.

"But how will she handle all of this" she heard the feminine voice breaking.

Tears were trailing down the little girl's face and they would not stop. She tried to close her eyes, hoping this all was just a nightmare.

Tears were threating to fall from her eyes again. God why!? She screamed internally. Today was going so well. Why always with her. Anger was rising inside her. Anger because she was stupid enough to give it there when she literally had it in her hands. She knew she was not delusional. She was sure that it was THE BOOK. All because of Anirudh. Yes it was his fault. He... he just... What was his problem. Why did he come to the study and why was he so... He had pushed her to behave like that. If he had simply let her have the book, she wouldnt have done such a stunt. She wouldnt have been lost in ... and got distracted. Frustration was the third emotion flowing in her nerves until she was red in shame. Oh god what was wrong with her. Ting. Her phone's screen lit up with the notification.

Hey, bondu

Mujhe ek kaam aa gya tha toh mereko jana pad gya.

Sryy I left without telling you.

What happened all of a sudden that she had to leave? Guess Bondita was alone now. Checking her phone she decided it was time for her to go too. She had done a lot of shit for one day anyways. She wasnt even sure how will she face him now. The realization was embarrassing. She probably looked psychotic to him now. Staying here was not gonna help.

Oh and I took the car with the driver soo... yeah. Sryy again.

She tightened her grip on the phone and clenched her jaw. How was she supposed to go home now!! Guess someone was gonna see her wrath when see gets home. She looked up from her phone just to meet with his eyes. She looked away immediately and turned to walk away.
