"I thought I lost you for good marj." He carried on sobbing in her arms.

Marjorie looked down at the broken man infront of her, his body was shaking and tears were burning down his face. She'd never seen Reece cry so hard before, it hurt her to see her like this.

"I should've never left you my love. I'm so sorry." She said.
"It's not your fault, I was just so scared you weren't coming home."

Marjorie realised just how much he loved her in that moment. She wanted to help him, but all she could to was hold him. There was nothing else she could do, the only thing that would've helped him is to come home, and that's exactly what she did. She came home to him.

"oh god, ive not even checked on the girls. Im a terrible father." Reece said, running into the their room.

They were both sound asleep, although, nova did wake up when she heard him.

"Hey Princess, mummy's home." He whispered to her. "Would you like to see her."

Nova nodded sleepily, and reached out for him, opening and closing her hands.

"Come on the bug." He said, whipping away the once fresh tears and picking her up.
"Daddy." Nova started.
"What's up darling?" He asked.
"There's something on your face." She said.
"What is it?" He asked again.

Nova whipped something off his face, sticking out her tongue as she did.
"Teardrop." She said.
"No darling, boys don't cry." He told her.

After he said that, he immediately wanted to take it back. That's what his dad used to say to him. God how could he be so stupid.

"Yes they do." She replied. "Uncle wint wint told me it's completely fine, isn't it?" She questioned.
"Yes princess, it's completely fine." He said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, why did you say it wasn't?"
"Because, I'll tell you when you're older."
"Why?" She asked again.
"Because nova." He told her.
"But why?"
"Nova."
"Why?" She asked again.
"Stop pushing." Reece sternly raised his voice.
"But I wanna know why?"

"Nova may Knight, I've told you countless of times to stop pushing. When I say stop, just stop. You don't need to know. Stop pushing it." He put her down, raising his voice.

"I'm sorry." She put her hand down and began to walk away.
"Nova sweetheart-." He said from across the hall.

Reece decided it was no use and turned back around, facing Marjorie.

"Did you just yell at her to shut up." She asked.
"I did, now move." He said, walking into his room and shutting the door, locking it behind him.
