Pt.14

Reece and Marjorie were in their room, lying down on the bed. Marjorie was snuggled up into Reece's chest, partially drifting off. She wanted to stay awake for him though.

"Gorgeous, if you're tired go to sleep, I won't keep you awake." He smiled down at her, kissing her on the head.
"Would you be okay with that?" She asked.
"I would, get some rest my girl." Marjorie smiled back at him, sighing as she closed her eyes.

Autumn was laughing at winter and the girls. Nova had covered him in stickers and Niamh was supposedly doing his make up.

"Uncle wint wint, you need to shut your eyes!" Niamh said.

Winter did as she said, not wanting to upset her.
"You look absolutely stunning my love." Autumn giggled.
"Thank you. I always look fabulous."
"Shhh, I'm putting on your lipstick." Niamh said.
"When I became a god father, I did not sign up for this." He said.
"Shhhhh." Niamh put one finger to his mouth, telling him to be quiet.

"I've ran out of stickers." Nova said, standing up to go get some more.

"My darling, I'm just going to check on the freaks of the week, I'll be back in a minute." Autumn said, still laughing.

Autumn made her way upstairs, praying to god she wouldn't walk in on anything she wasn't supposed to.

Much to her relief, the pair were actually behaving for once.

Marjorie was cuddled up into Reece's chest, fast asleep. Reece was still wide awake, admiring his incredible wife before him.

He noticed autumn and smiled at his little sis. Autumn smiled back.

She walked over to him sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Hey, how are you two doing?" She whispered, mindful of the sleeping Marjorie.
"We're okay, Marjorie just drifted off a few minutes ago. I feel really bad though." Reece let out a sigh before carrying on.

"I've been so focused on myself lately, I've had no time for her. I just don't feel like I'm doing enough. Not just for her, but for the twins aswell." Reece admitted.

"You're doing amazing Reece. These three girls love you. I'm guessing she hasn't noticed you're not eating yet?" Autumn asked.
"Yeah." Reece sighed again.

Autumn looked at him, sympathetically before saying,

"Reece, you have to tell her soon. I mean, I know why you're not eating, but she doesn't." Autumn said, gesturing towards Marjorie.
"I know, it's just hard this time of year. It's the time when-." Reece started, getting cut off by autumn.

"But, it's that time of the year mum left." Autumn said.
"Mhm." Reece hummed in response.

"Just talk to her, please." Autumn pleaded with him. "And get something to eat."

"I will, I love you." He told her.

"I love you too." Autumn replied, walking out of the bedroom and shutting the door behind her.
