Today was Marjorie's day to go to work. They did alternate shifts so one of them could always be with the girls, however, occasionally, they might have to go to nursery.

The twins and Reece were sat on the couch, watching whatever the twins wanted, when they heard Marjorie car pull up.

"Wanna go say hi to mummy?" He asked. They did even respond as they just jumped off the couch and ran to the front door, causing Reece to laugh slightly.

He followed them to the front door, where they were waiting eagerly. Soon enough, the front door opened and Marjorie walked inside.

"Mummy!" The twins said at the same time.
"Hi my loves." Marjorie said quietly. She looked up at Reece, red puffy eyes. She'd been so sick of work lately it was all catching up to her.

"Go on girls, you don't want to miss any more of your show do you?" He smiled.

They both ran away into the living room, leaving Marjorie and Reece alone.

"Baby, what's wrong." He asked, pulling her into his warm embrace.
"I'm sick to death of parents thinking they can tell me what to do with my children because their sons and daughters are older, I don't get it." She told him, starting to cry into his arms.

"What parent was it?" Reece asked again.
"I'm not telling you that, we don't need you going full prom night piranha Reece." She laughed.

Reece looked down at her and wiped her cheeks dry, planting a soft kiss on each one.

He then proceeded to pick her up and walk upstairs.
"Reece, what on earth are you doing."
"Carrying you upstairs." He gently placed her on their bed before giving her another kiss, this one on the lips.
"Let me go get the girls." He said.

He walked into the living room, seeing the pair fast asleep on the sofa. Reece picked them up, and went back upstairs, into his and Marjorie's room.

"They okay?" Marjorie questioned.
"Yep, they're also out like a light." He laughed.

He looked at the sleep twins in his arms and carefully placed them down. Reece hopped on the bed himself, sitting down next to Marjorie. She cuddled up into his side, resting her head on his chest.

The twins were on Reece's side of the bed, sleeping. Majorie and Reece just talked for the entire night, not one of them got a wink of sleep, no matter how hard Reece tried to get her to settle. She did in early hours of the morning, but Reece didn't.

He didn't need to sleep, as long as he had his girls, he'd be okay.
