The story of us// baby bundle

Pt.17

Reece and nova had been stargazing for another half hour, the air growing colder ever second.

"Daddy." Nova started. "I'm cold."

Reece took off the jacket he was wearing, wrapping it around her. Nova sat in his lap, staring at the stars.

"Thank you." she giggled.
"It's fine princess. I would do anything for you." Reece smiled, giving her a kiss on the side of her head.

"Never again." Autumn sighed, walking back into the living room.

All her make up she'd put on the morning, alongside the other make up the girls had put on her, had rubbed off. She felt she was hideous.

"Wow autumn." Marjorie said.
"I know, I look hideous. Don't mention it."

Autumn said, looking down at the ground.

"Hang on, you didn't let me finish." Marjorie stood up, walking over to her.
"I was gonna say you look beautiful." Marjorie smiled.

Autumn was confused by the compliment. No one, except winter , ever told her that before. Not even Reece.

"Thank you?" Autumn said, confused.
"I mean it autumn." Marjorie told her.

"Yeah!" Niamh added. "You look like a princess!"

Nova was falling asleep in Reece's arms, as it was getting late. He noticed this and began getting ready to go home. Reece picked up nova, wrapping his coat back around her tiny body, and  carrying her to the car.

Hs gently placed her in the car seat, strapping her in and placing a kiss on her forehead.

They got home around nine pm, meaning, Niamh would also be asleep.

He picked her up once more and carried her inside, taking his daughter upstairs and changing her into pyjamas, careful not to wake up Niamh.

Reece gave nova a kiss before placing her down, the kneeling down by Niamh, giving her a kiss aswell.

"Goodnight angels." Reece said softly, shutting the door quietly behind him.

He turned round to see Marjorie facing him, smiling.

"What?" Reece asked.
"Nothing, I just love you." She hung her hands around his neck, pulling him in for a kiss. Reece accepted and put his arms around her waist, reeling her in closer.

The only once pulled away when air became a problem. They'd haven't been able to do that in a while.

"I love you too." Reece said, picking Marjorie up.

"reece what-." Reece finished the sentence for her.
"What on earth am I doing?" He asked.
"I'm carrying my girl." Reece told her.

He emerged from out of the corridor, into the living room, ducking as he met the threshold, knowing Marjorie's would hit her head otherwise.

"Ew, you make me sick." Autumn said.
"You love us." Reece smirked at his younger sister.

"I do." Autumn laughed, wondering how she got so lucky with the two of them.
