"Boom there we go 27 pieces of candy with little notes done and it is now time for bed booger and I don't want any complaining it is already past your bed time" Jac said slamming down the last piece of candy for Jude's Valentine's party before picking him up and putting him in bed. "I love you mommy goodnight" Jude beamed while giving his mother the biggest hug in history after she finished reading his nightly bedtime story. "I love you more bug" The woman replied smiling as she kissed him on the forehead.

It would be a massive understatement to say the Jacqueline liked Valentine's Day. She loved it so deeply with all her heart. Some would say it is because she is secretly a hopeless romantic but her loved for started when Jac had her heartbreak at 10 when Levi Davis asked Hannah Adams to the valentines day dance. That day Jacqueline came home with tears in her eyes and a heart full of sorrow. Now for some people this might of started a deep hatred for the day but not for Jac because not everybody has a Shemar Richardson as a father.

Shemar grew up the man of the house helping his mom raise his five sisters. So when he was blessed with his two little girls he promised he would always be there for them no matter what. So when the first thing he saw when he walked in the door on February 12, 2000 was his little girl with big puffy eyes he decided to start a tradition. Every Valentine's Day him and his girls would would take the day off work and barricade themselves in the living room and watch all the cheesy romantic movies possible.

The father and daughter tradition continued and was added to after Lorelai was born so the group of two became a group three. So there was no way in hell that a highly emotional twenty two year old very pregnant Jacqueline was going to let the tradition die when her father did. So the simple tradition that caused a ten year old girl to not be completely heartbroken had been carried on for almost eighteen years and she was going to let anything is going to change that.

"Okay buddy lets get out here alright its time to see uncle chimney and plus there's cake I hear" Jac smirked as she helped her son out of her baby blue pick up truck she had gotten when she was eighteen. At that the family of three walked into the fire station barring gifts for the once injured man. Jude took off sprinting to find Chimney upstairs and tackled the short man into a hug giggling. "Jude Shemar Wright let the man breathe he just got of the hospital" Jac scolded before taking Chimney into a warm embrace before letting go. "We are all so glad you're okay Chim I don't no what we would do without your terrible jokes" Jac teases while breaking the embrace and handed him his pile of presents.

One homemade one from Jude, he spent hours on it to try and make it perfect and almost had a breakdown about it not looking nice which lead to Lorelai and Jacqueline having to talk the six year old down. There were two things of bake goods specifically just for Chimney from Lori one thing of fudge brownies and ant the other a thing of chocolate chip cookies. Lori took up baking as a way to cope once their dad died and she had kept with it through the past four years. The last gift was a new dark red coffee maker that Chimney had been wanting for the past year it was supposed to his birthday gift but Jac thought what is a better time then now.

"Okay now you know i can't accept all this Jackie" Chim sighs as he sets down his gifts and smiles at the woman.

"Well be glad I'm not giving you a choice you are taking those gifts no matter what-" Jac demanded being cut off by Buck yelling something she paid no attention to until he made his way over towards Chimney and her with the 9-1-1 operator the hospital from a week ago.
