Yeosang sat at the sleek conference table, his focus completely on the presentation in front of him. The polished glass reflected the overhead lights, and the room was filled with the quiet hum of conversation as Bang Chan from Bang Entertainment wrapped up his final slide. Both Bang Entertainment and Jongho's company had been discussing a collaboration for weeks, and now they were finally sitting down to discuss the specifics of their joint project.

Yeosang wasn't thinking about Jongho. Not anymore. Ever since he had made the decision to focus on his work and his future, he had kept his mind clear. Love could wait—his career came first.

He glanced over at Jongho, who was seated beside him. Jongho's expression was as unreadable as ever, though his sharp eyes were focused on the presentation. If Yeosang didn't know better, he'd think Jongho was completely unaffected by everything that had happened between them. But Yeosang had learned not to dwell on that. He had his own path to carve out.

Bang Chan, standing confidently at the front of the room, finished his presentation with a satisfied smile. "So, that's the outline for our collaboration. We'll be working on a new line of wireless headphones with enhanced sound quality and sleek design. I think this is going to be a great product for both of our companies."

Yeosang nodded along, taking notes diligently. He admired Bang Chan's leadership skills—he was confident, approachable, and clearly knew what he was doing. As the meeting drew to a close, Yeosang gathered his notes and papers, ready to follow Jongho out of the room.

But just as Jongho stepped away to take a phone call, Bang Chan approached Yeosang, his sharp eyes looking him up and down with interest. "You did a great job today," Bang Chan said, his voice smooth and casual. "Very thorough. I can see why your company relies on you."

Yeosang blinked, a little surprised by the compliment. "Thank you, sir. I just do my best."

Bang Chan smiled, but there was something more in his gaze than just professional appreciation. "You know, I don't have an assistant at Bang Entertainment right now. I've been looking for someone who's not only good at their job but also sharp and efficient—someone like you."

Yeosang's eyes widened slightly. "Me?"

Bang Chan nodded, pulling a sleek business card from his pocket and handing it to Yeosang. "If you're ever looking for a new opportunity, give me a call. I think you'd fit in well at my company."

Yeosang stared at the card, unsure of what to say. He had never expected this kind of offer, especially not from someone as high-profile as Bang Chan. "I... I'll think about it," he said finally, taking the card and slipping it into his pocket.

Bang Chan gave him a charming smile before turning to leave the room. "No rush. Just keep it in mind."

As soon as Bang Chan was out of sight, Yeosang let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. A job offer? From Bang Chan? The thought lingered in his mind, making him wonder what kind of future he could have at Bang Entertainment.

Just then, Jongho returned to the room, his face carefully neutral. But Yeosang could tell that something was off. There was a tension in the air that hadn't been there before.

"It's time to go," Jongho said, his voice clipped. He didn't look at Yeosang as he spoke, but there was an edge to his tone that Yeosang couldn't quite place.

Yeosang gathered his things and followed Jongho out of the room, his mind still swirling with thoughts of the job offer. As they walked to the car, he couldn't help but glance at Jongho, wondering what he was thinking.

Little did Yeosang know, Jongho had overheard the entire conversation with Bang Chan. He had been just outside the door, close enough to hear every word. And now, as they walked side by side, Jongho's mind was racing with the possibility that Yeosang might leave his company.

The thought gnawed at him, making his chest tighten. Would Yeosang really leave? And if he did, what would that mean for them? Jongho couldn't ignore the feeling of panic rising in him—the thought of losing Yeosang, both as an employee and as something more, left him unsettled in a way he hadn't anticipated.

As they reached the car, Jongho glanced at Yeosang, who was still lost in thought. He wanted to say something—anything—that might keep Yeosang from considering the offer. But instead, Jongho stayed silent, unsure of how to handle this new development.

I need to talk to Yunho, Jongho thought to himself. He needed advice, and he needed it soon. He couldn't lose Yeosang—not like this.
