Sauron walked over to where Adar was lying, looking well and truly dead to the untrained eye. Luckily for Adar, or unluckily depending on your point of view, Sauron's eyes weren't untrained. He waited until the rest of the Uruk had gone, probably to celebrate their hollow victory. Sauron pressed two of his fingers to the side of Adar's neck, just to be sure. Indeed, there was a pulse, even if it was faint. Sauron would have to move fast if he didn't want the rest of his newfound army to catch onto what they were doing. Sauron placed a hand on Adar's chest, and let his magic flow into him, closing and healing the wounds. Adar was half elf, half Uruk, and therefore harder to kill than most. He certainly wasn't going to die that easily. Sauron wasn't someone who liked to lose what was his.
Slowly but surely, all the wounds on Adar's chest healed up. Sauron sighed. Honestly. Adar probably wouldn't have bled out from that alone, even if he had lost consciousness from the wounds. If this was the best the Uruk could do, Sauron wasn't sure he wanted to see the worst. Ten of them couldn't come close to killing a single person, even with an albeit poorly executed surprise attack. Sauron really and truly wondered what Adar had ever seen in the creatures.
Sauron bent down, picking up Adar's unmoving form, and throwing him over his shoulder. Adar was light, even with his armor on, and smaller than the average elf. Even without Sauron's magic, Adar would have been easy to carry. Sauron looked around once, making sure that none of the Uruk had seen him. If they had, Sauron would have to eliminate the witnesses. He supposed that would be fine. They were just orcs, after all, and Sauron planned on tracking down and killing each of the ones that had tried to kill Adar.
With a flicker of his magic, Sauron had teleported himself and Adar back to the citadel Sauron had built in the wreckage of Eregion. There was a top floor to the highest tower, the one Sauron had tormented the elven smith in. This was where Sauron would keep Adar, at least until the time was right. Until Galadriel came looking for him.
That connection made Sauron infuriated. His first love had been Adar, one of Morgoth's creations that had rebelled, and he'd trusted Sauron completely. Before trying to kill Sauron with his own crown, all for a people that had demonstrated today they didn't deserve it. Sauron still wasn't over that. Galadriel was supposed to be Sauron's queen. They had been in love, until she'd found out he was Sauron, and that had more or less ruined the relationship. Now, the two people that had defied Sauron had some sort of spark between the two of them, something Sauron didn't understand, and hadn't been able to prevent. Now, Sauron had the perfect plan to get back both of the people that were supposed to be his. And this time he wasn't going to lose.
