T'kell's POV
I followed Havelock as he and his elite guardsmen company charged fourth into the heretic lines. Many mordians fell during the initial charge into the enemy lines. But the gap was quickly filled by another Mordian soldier with the same ferver and aggression as the one who fell. Bayonets ready the gleam of their blades shined even in the hazy fog and smoke of the battlefield.
The heretics tried holding their ground but we're met by the bayonets of the well disciplined guardsmen. Their fighting prowess could be described as calculated as each man and woman thrusted their bayonets into the gut of a heretic or slashing fourth and firing a close range shot through a heretics chest.
The close quarter battle favored the Mordians as they were experts in tight space fighting accustomed to their home world. They fought valiantly as did I and my brothers as well....
Havelock's POV
Our men crashed into the lines of the heretics like a blade coming down onto the neck of a prisoner on the chopping block. Cutting deep into their lines I slashed and stabbed my way through the bloody traitors with my elite guardsmen to my back as they help surge fourth as well. T'kell also fought in hand to hand combat as well. Using a mighty warhammer that was shaped in the manner of the fire drakes of his home world of Nocturne. I could see where each company was in the battle by the sight of the Salamander soldiers standing well above the guardsmen.
Chainswords, large combat knives and power swords cut and cleaved through groups of heretics like freshly warmed butter. The battle was brutal though as both heretics and mordians fell in the close quarter battle. But the fight favored us as we knew how to fight shoulder to shoulder and in bayonet range.
Author's POV
~Battle Scene~
Havelock's men pierced through the Heretics with undeniable ferocity that kept pushing back their enemy. Havelock parried an incoming charge from a lone heretic infantryman, who tried turning to face Havelock but was met by his blade as our Colonel pierced through the poor bastard's throat with his blade. His blade was momentarily stuck in the man's throat before being kicked off by Havelock's boot.
"Keep pushing!!!" Havelock cried out loudly to his men who surged forward upon hearing their commanders words. Their tenacity seemed to only increase after hearing those words. The Salamanders were suprised by the tenacious resolve of their guardsmen allies, who pushed forward with them. Their massive bodies crushed falled heretics on the ground to death. Their mighty melee weapons smashed and cleaved any heretic in their way like nothing under their immense strength.
T'kell with his mighty warhammer crashed down onto group's of heretics like nothing as he made more and more heretics into smashed remains of blood and guts that allowed the Mordians to surge forward to push them back even further.
The Mordians eventually broke through as the heretic lines, and with the support of the Kriegsmen on the other side of the city, messages from other allied radio transmissions had informed them the Krieg troops have started flooding into the city killing all who opposed them.
The fighting was starting to come to an end as now the heretics started being pushed deeper into depths of the city. A vanguard line of heretics covered the main forces retreat as they cowered away from the Mordian's clutches of iron and close quarter lasgun volley fire.
