After the game, the atmosphere outside the stadium was still buzzing from the electrifying match as fans slowly trickled out, discussing Henry's valiant efforts. Olivia, with her parents Chris and Jen by her side, stood patiently at the edge of the parking lot. Henry's post-game huddle with his team took longer than expected, but Olivia understood how important it was for him to motivate and uplift his teammates even after a tough loss.

Finally, Henry emerged from the locker room, looking both exhausted and energised, as if he carried the weight of the team's spirit as well as its future. He spotted Olivia, and his face lit up with a tired but genuine smile. As he made his way over, Chris pulled him into a warm embrace.

"Tough break today, champ," Chris said, giving Henry a supportive squeeze. "But your drive out there was outstanding. I know you'll get them next time."

Henry nodded appreciatively, drawing strength from Chris's unwavering belief. "Thanks, Chris. I just have to keep pushing, you know? We'll get there."

Jen, ever observant, gave Henry a gentle pat on the back. "Now, how about we get you something to eat? I'll make sure we pick something good for you. We can't have you running out of fuel," she said with a wink, already mentally sifting through the restaurant's menu for the healthiest options.

They piled into the car, laughter and chatter filling the interior as they drove to a nearby family-owned restaurant, a favourite spot for gatherings after games. Once seated, Jen deftly navigated the menu, helping Henry choose a nutrient-rich meal to aid his recovery without compromising taste.

Halfway through their meal, a group of fans, who had been at the game, noticed Henry and approached their table with excitement. Their admiration was palpable.

"Hey, Henry! That match was incredible, especially your hat trick!" one of the fans exclaimed, holding up a notebook along with a pen. "Could we possibly get a picture and an autograph?"

Henry, ever gracious, wiped his hands clean before standing up with a broad smile. "Of course! Thank you for coming out to support us today." He signed autographs and posed for pictures, his humility and warmth shining through.

As the fans left with newfound memories, Olivia beamed at Henry from across the table. "You handled that really well."

Henry shrugged modestly, though he was clearly touched by the attention and support. "It's the least I can do for those who cheer us on, no matter the result."

With the evening winding down, they returned to their meals, the atmosphere buoyed by camaraderie and optimism. Despite the game's outcome, Henry felt bolstered by the love and support around him, ready to face the challenges of the season with fresh resolve.

As they settled back into their meal, the conversation flowed easily, with Chris sharing stories from his own days as a high school student and Jen reminiscing about Olivia's childhood adventures. Olivia rolled her eyes affectionately, but laughed along, enjoying the warm family banter.

During a lull in the conversation, Henry leaned over and playfully nudged Olivia with his elbow. "You know, Liv," he said with a teasing grin, "I couldn't help but notice how great you looked out there today in that Henderson jersey. It really suits you."

Olivia blushed, shaking her head with a smile. "Oh, please! You're just saying that because you like seeing your name everywhere."

"Can you blame me?" Henry chuckled, leaning back in his chair triumphantly. "Seeing you in my jersey was definitely my good luck charm today. I might have to make it a pre-game tradition."

Olivia laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Fine, fine. But only if you promise to keep scoring hat tricks."

"It's a deal," Henry agreed, holding out his hand for a playful handshake.
