Chapter 3 : New Trouble

Due to lack of funds and being Late . Miyu and her companions had to take rest in a horse shed .

Hiroshi: "I wish I had more options."

Hiroshi complained about their current situation.

Eren : "Yeah. Like you are going to get a Palace type room with that budget. Honestly we are lucky enough to get this room for 3 copper coins."

Hiroshi: "Rooms . This place is a horse shed . Calling this a room is a disgrace."

Eren : "Aghh . Stop whining. Just go to sleep."

Hiroshi: "Yeah I would love to , only if this horse stops eating my hair . Its not your food DAMMIT ."

And with that everyone went to sleep that night .

The next day they woke up and decided to register rimuru's identity to the guild hall .

At the Guild Hall

Miyu : "We are here to register this person's id."

Guild : "Ok . Sir Place your hand on the status plate , first ."

gender : Male

Criminal record : None
Place of Origin : None
Magic Power : HIGH .

Guild staff : "Thats a nice stat you have there sir ."

"Take this . This will be your new id ."

She handed over the ID card to Rimuru .

After that they discussed about the quest they took from the notice board and and went to take the quest .

The quest was to kill a BigWolf monster .

They completed the quest and came back to the inn for the dinner .

As they were eating the dinner , murmers of a new hero sprung up.

Person1: "Hey Did you see his Light Slash ."

Person2: "Are you kidding me . That was AWESOME ."

Person3: "The way he easily sliced up that monster in a flash . I have never seen something like this ."

Person1: "Yeah And That Monster was strong enough to trouble 5 knights alone . And THAT thing was just made shut up , by the hero ."

Person2: "He really might be the Hero. Not just someone who claims to be one ."

Person3: "Ofcourse he is . There is no way he is a normal guy . That Monster he slew had been so much troublesome, that the guild was preparing a special group extermination quest for it . But looks like it won't be needed more ."

Person1: "Now that we have hero with us . I think that troublesome group will also stay away from our kingdom."

Eren : "Looks like a new hero sprung up in our absence."

Hiroshi : "Yes . I have heard new about it . And I heard he packs a punch ."

Eren : "What do you mean ?"

Hiroshi : "As those guys said . Many people have witnessed his power with their own eyes ."

Haruyaki: "I too heard he slew the Sea Krakken monster and it just took him around 30 minutes or so . Not to mention he slew it alone . Without any help from others .

Eren: "Smells troublsome to me ."

Haruyaki : "What do you mean ?"

Eren : "I mean we should avoid this guy. I am pretty sure this news is not hidden from the King . And the King will sure meet him or has already met him . That means getting involved with him will mean getting involved with the Kings business, which I don't like ."

Hiroshi : "Say it quietly. By the way . Whats your problem with the king ?"

Eren : "I don't know he seems very different nowdays . Like he will kill anyone whom he doesn't like infront of his eyes ."

Haruyaki: "Haha. Well he is King after all ."

Person2: "What was his name ? I forgot."

Person3: "Its was Kouki . The Hero of Light ."

(Sounds of Heavy footsteps *)

The group attention was suddenly brought to a group of people that approached the Bar .

Eren : "Kingdom soldiers. What are they doing here ?"

Haruyaki : "M-maybe for Patrol ?"

As The group was wondering what were the Kingdom soldiers were doing here . One of the soldiers moved his head around left to right as if he was searching something .

Then After a few seconds. He stopped. And then said something to the other soldiers.

Then The soldiers nodded in agreement and approached the group .

One of the soldiers break the silence and said

Soldier 1: "Who of You is Rimuru Tempest ?"

Rimuru : "That would be me ."

Soldier 1: "Rimuru Tempest . You are under arrest."

MIYU: "HUHHH?"

Eren: "WHAT ?"

Hiroshi and Haruyaki are too shocked to hear this .

Soldier 2: "You have to come with us . We have orders from the King himself."

Eren : "Thats Outrageous. What has he done. He just literally registered and done like what One or two quest . Is that crime ."

Soldier 1: "Silence, Girl . We have Orders for his arrest to bring him . Now its upto him . To come with us without making a fuss or Want us to use force ."

Eren : "I would like to see you try force , you unjust metal tin cans . I will beat you to a pulp ."

Hiroshi : "Eren . Calm down . Just calm down ."

Then one of the guild staff arrived at the scene .

Guild staff: "Sir I think you are mistaken. The individual Rimuru Tempest has just registered to the guild today . And I have found No criminal records on his status plate . This might be a misunderstanding."

Soldier 2 : "Whatever misunderstanding. If you want to clear it . Say it in the court when his trial will be held . Now we have orders to arrest him ."

Miyu then stood infront of Rimuru

Soldier 1: "Step aside lady . You don't wanna be arrested for nothing . Do you ."

Miyu : "And let you take an innocent man to jail . No I won't ."

Hiroshi : "Backdown Miyu . Just for now . We will get Rimuru back . Another way ."

Haruyaki : "Yes any rash action now will only make things difficult."

Miyu : "How can you guys Let them arrest Rimuru . He is our friend."

Hiroshi : "Yes and thats why we are saying you to back down . We will rescue him . But if we intervene now and all of us are arrested. There is no way we can rescue him out ."

With that the Soldiers arrested Rimuru and took him to the Arcadia palace .
