Chapter 8 : A Shadow Creeps in .

As days blend into weeks , their bonds became stronger . And they became closer .

Friends , was the word that could be used to describe them when they first met .

But now slowly yet unknowingly they had come closer , and they were yet to realise.

Rimuru: "Where should i put this ? "( says Rimuru. He is carrying some wood on his shoulders )

Miyu : "over there ."

He places the wood's pieces he had collected on the ground .

Currently they are renovating their small hut they made .

It wasn't a large house , but a small house big enough for 2 people to live . It has only 1 bedroom 1 kitchen and 1 attached bathroom.

It was made of blocks of rocks and stones they collected. And its inside was made of wood for insulation.

" Well this is done " ( says Miyu as she finishes up decorating the small garden she made .)

" I wonder what different flowers should I use here ? "

Rimuru : " Where Should I put this ? "

Miyu : "Over there . "

Miyu : Rimuru sure is very helpful . Even though it hadn't been much long since we met , he put all his efforts in everything.

He is Kind , strong and most of all Doesn't back down on any problem .

Wait ! Why am I suddenly talking about him ?

Focus Miyu . Focus ( she slaps her face lightly 2 times to bring her attention back .)

Yes . Where was I ? Oh You ask how we landed in this situation? Well it's a pretty long story.

I will give you a short version though . Something lead to another , causing all of us to split and escape . And here we are now .

But you know its not that bad as I thought. I mean it's pretty funny sometimes. Specially with Rimuru around. '

Oh , What is he doing ? ( her sight falls into Rimuru )

Is he trying to reach for that fruit on that tree ? ( Rimuru is trying to Pluck a fruit on a tree .)

Hmm . With that height he is unable to reach . I see . I see . ( But since Rimuru is a little short . He is unable to pluck it .)

Now , he is backing down ? ( Rimuru then leaves the fruit and went a few distance back )

No . Looks like he is making a run-up .
( He positioned himself as if preparing for a powerful dash at the start of the race. )

Come On Rimuru . You can do it .

And Jump . Almost there . Almost there . ( He dashed forward with full speed . And pushed the ground with full power . And then putting all that strength into a spring like motion , he leaped towards the fruit . With his hand trying to snatch it .)
