“Ms. Marsh is on vacation and Ms. Pham, her intern, Ms. Kang will supervise you all for the meantime. If there are problems in this department, please report it to Ms. Lee. Are my instructions clear?” Minji asked as she faced the employees that are under Danielle’s management and department, announcing that their leader is out for vacation.
“Yes we understand!” the employees answered in unison, giving Minji a reason to nod.
“I expect nothing but the best from you all and production will be the same if not better. I will be taking my leave now,” Minji said her last words and the employees nod at her command.
Minji left the room and there she saw her receptionist, Hyein who is busy jotting something from the call she is taking. Danielle left and all the girls from Minji's trusted people have a fair share of tasks for now as the replacement of Danielle is not fully recovered yet.
Speaking of replacement, Y/n is medically cleared to work on a limited basis but Minji decided that a fully operational Y/n is better not only for the company, but also for himself.
While walking, a girl with feline eyes caught up to Minji with a tablet in her hand. “Unnie, you have a meeting with the finance department later. Will you go or nah?”
Haerin asked in the most innocent way possible that even if it's informal, Minji cannot get angry because of Haerin's cuteness and a sudden feeling of wanting to protect the girl from harm.
“I will go. Are you coming with me or Hanni?” Minji confirmed and asked the girl.
“Me. Hanni unnie said that she wants me to explore the know-hows of the company to grab a higher position,” Haerin said with a small smile that just melted the heart of the receiver.
“Okay, meet me at my office at 2 in the afternoon,” Minji said to which Haerin jotted down and nodded.
“That’s all for now unnie baibai~,” Haerin said and waved to Minji cutely. The girl on the other hand knows that the resident cat was breaking all her laws in formality yet she is the only one who can never make Minji mad for some reason. It must be the way Hanni teaches her interns.
Minji entered her office with a sigh as her responsibility was doubled without Danielle and her replacement Y/n, like the heavy weight on her shoulder just got heavier.
Just then, the door to her office opened and this caught the girl off-guard as usually, her receptionist will notify her first. Minji straighten up her body immediately and there, she saw a boy that's so familiar especially within the last few weeks entering the front door
Just like a lightning strikes her calm behaviour, her eyes widened in surprise and even more so in curiosity as to why he went there instead of resting and healing.
“What are you doing here?” Asked Minji as her gaze followed the man who went to the seat in front of Minji's table.
“I believe I have a job here to fulfil,” said the man who made Minji raise a brow at him.
