"Scales of gold and scales of black, anger as bright as the sun, a lord returns twisting both living and death to his will." Helaena mutters in her sleep unaware of her ranting.
The changing of the seasons cool the air from a nice breeze to a bone chilling wind causing Helaena to close her balcony door as well as to have some servants start a fire in the fireplace to keep warm. The crackling of the fire is the only sound that fills the room casting a shadow in the room not of furniture but of a silhouette of a person. The person wears sinister armor and has a hood and mask covering their face as the approach the unsuspecting girl.
Stoping at the side of the bed the figure looks down at the girl fascinated at the power she not even herself knows. A gift from the powers of this world in a attempt to change fate itself. In a way she reminds them of their own sister who holds a similar ability, much more refined though.
It's truly ashame that the beings of this world are so ignorant not to take her ramblings as warnings, but that's man way, never taking warnings seriously until it's to late.
The figure slowly pulls a dagger out of their cloak before hovering it over the girls heart.
"Such a shame, you could have been a nice addition to my force."
Covering the girls mouth, she is jolted awake trying to scream for help. The armor hand muffles her screams for help as the dagger plunges into her heart. She hits her attacker in a feeble attempt but it dose nothing.
The last thing Helaena sees are the burning gold eyes as darkness claims her.
Keeping the dagger in place the figure stand there for a few more minutes to make sure she's dead. Removing the dagger they stand to full height, scanning the room for any evidence of their presence only to find nothing.
Good.
Taking one last look at the girl they make their way twords the fireplace uttering a quick chant before the fire swallows the whole and disappearing in the flames.
The room remains unchanged as if a young girl hasn't just been killed in her sleep. Night soon turned to day and then late morning
A voice gently calling to Heleana opened the door to the innermost chamber to reveal Alicent Hightower queen of the seven kingdoms.
"Heleana my sweet, are you up yet your maid said... Alicent's voice had trailed off as she reached for Heleana's form. stringy white hair strewn across the pillows and the smell of something foul. Her stomach twisted painfully as Alicent seized Heleana's shoulder. She tugged and her daughter's body was stiff, cold, lips blue and pale purple eyes sightless.
"No no no Heleana!" Alicent screams she then notices the pool of red in her daughters dress and removing the blanket sees the stab mark that killed her daughter. Alicent screams attract the attention of the guard in the hallways causing them to burst in the room.
It was too late Helaena was dead.
