"I wrote to Tsumu that you will not be attending the next training session. We should first make sure that you are not in danger on the training ground", said Osamu as he held up his cell phone. Kita-san nodded. "We need to find out who revealed your identity. Such behavior cannot be tolerated." I shifted restlessly on my chair. "Ito-san, I need your family's information. I need to be able to contact them if this gets out of hand", said Kita-san while looking through his note book. No... That was impossible. My mother can not find out about this. It would make everything much more complicated and she could use it against me in whatever way. My coach had all of the information. She would surely pass it to him if I refused. "Ito-san?", he tried to gain my attention.

What should I say? I decided to go for the truth. "My... mother is not trustworthy in this regard..." I paused. "And my father is... no longer with us." Kita-san lowered his head. "I'm sorry. Are there any other relatives?"

There was silence. I couldn't bring myself to say it. I didn't dare. Just as I was about to say no, someone interrupted me. "She's my cousin. I'll take responsibility in case of emergency."

I jerked my head up in disbelief and stared at Osamu. He knew?! He had known all along?! Impossible... "But how-" I didn't get any further. The door flew open with a loud bang. Kenma entered the room with quick steps, followed by Atsumu. "Samu..." Atsumu went right next to his twin brother. The two whispered to each other. Kenma had come over to me and was talking quietly to me so only I could hear him. "Are you okay, kitten?" Kitten... Something just had to happen for him to call me kitten again? My heart ached. I just nodded. He sat up straight.

"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. All of this only happened because I wasn't paying attention on stream. It's not Izumi's fault."

Kita-san patted him on the shoulder. "We can't undo it, we can only try to minimize the damage. You should concentrate on what's coming for you now, but also for Izumi. She'll suffer much more than you will." Kenma nodded.

"We'll take care of the person who published the information on the Internet. Izumi, you should rest a bit and calm down." Kita-san had probably noticed how much I was shaking.

"Come." Kenma grabbed my arm, but Atsumu stopped him. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, ya. You shouldn't be seen together for the time being." He pointed to his brother and himself. "We'll make sure she gets to the lounge safely, ya?"

-----

After the dining room doors closed behind me, I took a deep breath. "What's going on between you and Kenma?", Osamu asked. He was walking right beside me while Atsumu trotted behind us. I shrugged. "I don't know... Until recently, I thought we were good friends, but now... That's not important." I gathered my courage. "How do you know we're... related?" Osamu smiled slightly. "You're not the only one who's been doing research. When you showed up at the restaurant that time, I immediately noticed how similar you look to my mother. When you said your last name was Ito, I put two and two together and then asked my mother about it." I stared at him in disbelief. "You knew all along?" He nodded.

Unease spread through me. "Does Atsumu know?" Osamu nodded again. "I told him right away, but asked him to hold back for now. We didn't know how much you knew."

I lowered my head. "I only found out yesterday. My mother refused to give me my father's documents and when Dad was still alive he hardly had any contact to his family..." I swallowed hard. "I don't even know where my father is buried. My mother took the urn away from me when I got here." Atsumu took a sharp breath. "Excuse me?! What kind of mother is that?" Osamu pushed open a door that led to the common room.

I collapsed onto one of the beanbags, distraught. "And now she's planning to take Dad's inheritance and use it for her own pleasure." Atsumu leaned against the table. "But how? Kyo has signed his inheritance over to his siblings and his descendants, hasn't he?" I winced at the mention of my father's name. "It's complicated. My mother hasn't told anyone about Dad's siblings or declared them dead. And I'm not yet of legal age, which means my mother has to accept my share for me. I only found out by chance what she plans to do with it." Was it too early to ask them? "I don't want Dad's hard work to fall into her hands. I beg you, please help me..."

Osamu and Atsumu looked at each other. "I never thought Kyo's ex was so evil, ya. A few months ago she assured us that everything was already sorted out", Atsumu spoke in disbelief. I looked up. "You had contact with each other?"

Osamu nodded. "She spoke to our mother when she brought his urn to us." My breathing became faster. "You know where my father is buried?"

Atsumu smiled at me reassuringly. "We can go there when the situation has calmed down a bit." Tears welled up in my eyes. "T-that would be great."

Osamu knelt down in front of me. "And don't worry about the inheritance thing, cousin. I'm going to visit our mother this evening and discuss things with her. We'll get it sorted out. It's time for the witch to get a taste of her own medicine."

All walls broke. I started to sob. "Shhh, it's okay, ya? Look ahead. There's something positive about the whole situation! You have two really great and cool cousins now, okay?" Despite my tears, I had to laugh. "I-I'm glad I-I found you, really!" The twins smiled broadly. A heavy weight fell from my chest and I was finally able to breathe properly for the first time in a few months.

----

It took me a while to calm down again. The fact that I was reunited with my father's family triggered an avalanche of emotions in me. Everything from absolute happiness to deep sadness was there. Atsumu and Osamu eventually had to go back to their training groups and left me alone again. I took the time to sort out my feelings and thoughts. My goodness, I had only been in Hyōgo for two days. So much had already happened in those two days; I needed time to process it all. At least to some extent.

Just before lunch break began, there was a knock on the door. "Who's there?", I asked cautiously. The door was pushed open. At first I only saw a well-filled tray of food before I recognized the person carrying the tray into the room. I forgot to breath for a second as my heart skipped a beat. Kenma's hair was blown by the wind, his sport clothes were wrinkled.

"Hi", he said softly. Damn. My traitorous heart pounded loudly in my chest. Why did the mere sight of him make me melt like butter in a hot pan?
