His heart raced as he caught sight of her.
She was dressed in a familiar outfit, just like the staff around.
Busy arranging flowers on the table for the evening's event, she seemed completely absorbed in her task.
Woo Seok gasped and ducked behind a large balloon at the entrance, trying to stay out of sight.
He stole another glance, and his heart skipped again—it was the same girl he had seen yesterday at Mocha Café.
Lia.
“Woo Seok? Are you even paying attention?” Kim's voice jolted him back to reality.
“Uh, yeah,” he mumbled, still captivated by Lia as she worked.
“Listen, I really need you to focus. This is important!” Kim insisted, his tone urgent, but Woo Seok was lost in his thoughts.
“Right, right. Important,” he repeated absentmindedly, his gaze fixed on Lia.
“Woo Seok!” Kim's voice sharpened, cutting through his daydream.
“Did you just yell at me?” Woo Seok shot back, causing Kim to gasp.
“Sorry, man! I had to get your attention. Are you distracted by something... Important ?” Kim teased, making Woo Seok cough.
“What are you talking about? It’s not like that,” he said, trailing off as he looked at Lia again.
“So you are distracted?” Kim pressed playfully.
“Who is this person who’s got Mr. Ice at Dream High all flustered?” he continued, grinning.
“Mr. Ice? Who dares call me that?” Woo Seok replied coldly.
“Dude, everyone does, especially me,” Kim shot back.
Woo Seok sighed, ready to retort, but then he noticed Lia walking toward the balloon he was hiding behind.
Panic set in.
“Crap... Hey, I’ll call you back!” he blurted out.
“HEY, WAIT A MIN—” tut.
The call ended before Kim could finish his sentence.
Woo Seok quickly darted away from the balloon and slipped out of the hall.

[Lia Pov]
As I was busy rearranging the flowers, I heard Miss Jea call out, "Lia-ahh!"
"Yes!" I replied cheerfully, making my way over to her.
"I need your opinion," she said, holding up two vases for me to see.
"Which one do you think would look good on the main table?" she asked, her eyes searching mine.
I took a moment to examine both vases, and then my gaze fell on a stunning rose gold one.
"I think this one will be perfect!" I exclaimed, and her face lit up with a smile.
"Your choice is spot on!" she said, beaming. Just as she was about to walk away, I grabbed her arm.
"By the way, what's the occasion? It looks so fancy," I asked, curious.
Miss Jea leaned in closer and whispered, "Do you see that gorgeous woman over there?" I followed her gaze to a lady in a luxurious red fur coat.
"Yeah," I nodded, impressed.
"Today is her son's anniversary," she said, her eyes sparkling with intrigue.
"Really? That's amazing! What kind of anniversary?" I inquired, eager to know more.
"It's for his upcoming wedding anniversary," she replied, leaving me a bit puzzled.
"Upcoming? So he’s not married yet?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Miss Jea nodded. "Exactly!" Then she leaned in even closer, lowering her voice.
"I heard it's a family tradition. Tonight, they're having a ring exchange."
"that sounds lovely!" I said, genuinely excited.
"Lovely, sure, but to me, it sounds like a loveless marriage," she remarked, a hint of skepticism in her tone.
"I heard from our head manager that her son has been in an arranged marriage for ten years," she added, and I gasped in disbelief.
"Ten years? Why isn't he married yet?" I asked, astonished.
Miss Jea chuckled. "Well, education comes first. He had to finish school before tying the knot."
"How old is he?" I asked, intrigued.
She paused for a moment, then her eyes lit up. "Oh, I think he’s about your age."
"Really? That’s unexpected!" I replied, surprised.
"Rich people can be so strange, you know?" Miss Jea laughed before returning to her tasks.
I sighed, glancing back at the elegant woman before diving back into my work.
