Chapter 8. New Feelings and being a true friend.

Inuyasha and Kagome broke up. Kagome finally came clean about her feelings and her reasoning for why it's for the best that they break up.

Inuyasha wasn't unhappy about it but at the same time he felt sad, but he accepted her honesty, and her feelings though, and agreed to break up as a couple.

Serena however wasn't liking that her ex-boyfriend was here and making moves on Kagome.

Kagome likes him a lot. Serena however never forgave him for how he treated her and how badly he had hurt her. But she also gave him a warning to leave Kagome out of his games.

In her eyes, she was a sweet girl, and she didn't want to see anyone else get hurt. Inuyasha stated he'd sleep outside tonight.

So, let's get into this.

Serena left him alone for a while after he had his conversation with Kagome. Serena returned to clean up the dishes that she left to soak earlier this morning.

She looked around the camp and told everyone to come out. As her Shiny's were all smiling.

Inuyasha walked over to her campsite with his bag.

Serena:

Hey, are you leaving already aren't you going to say the rest of the week? Asked Serena" confused.

Inuyasha:

I was thinking about heading out early, I don't know what to do exactly except respect her wishes, she doesn't want to be together anymore, and it's supposed to rain tonight, so I can't sleep outside, we only have the 1 tent between her and I, to share, so I told her to keep it. Replied Inuyasha" seriously.

Serena:

That's ridiculous...!!! You can't leave early...!!!! and honestly where will you go, every day there's something else to do or train for, you've got to stay you also paid for your campsite, you should get to enjoy this place, look since she's not interested in sharing you can stay with me. spoke up Serena" willing to be helpful.

Inuyasha:

I thank you for the offer, but your tent is a little bit too small for the both of us. Said Inuyasha in" a serious tone of voice.

Serena:

Not if I add the other half of it, this tent can be built onto so we can fit three people in, or Pokémon for this case, my dad bought me this special tent for me, see I just put one side of it, I didn't put the whole thing up, but it does come with connectors so the tent becomes one big one when you connect them, you'll have your own privacy as well. Stated Serena" showing him the instructions for the extra rooms for this tent.

Inuyasha looked at her again.

Inuyasha:

Are you sure about this, I wouldn't want to crowd you out, I mean we just met, are you sure you're comfortable with sharing this with me? Asked Inuyasha" curiously.

Serena:

To tell you the truth...!!! I kind of like hanging out with you and talking with you and battling alongside your team, meeting your Charizard, I'd like it if we could continue hanging out for the rest of the week at least until camp is over with, it beats being alone and I like being friends with you and I would like to continue being friends, so what do you say plus, no one else is coming and I'd like to have someone I can hang out with, so what do you say will you stay? Asked Serena" gently explained this.
