An Alpha Amongst T-dolls

Chapter 1: Broken Mechanics

Alpha: Crimson Weave, one of the strongest constructs and ascendants. Only second to her younger sister Luna, who has recently disappeared some time ago and was forcefully disconnected from the ascension network. Alpha would take months to try and find her sister to no avail. She went through snow-covered sky's, to the scorching deserts. Her white hair matched her pale skin. Her white coat, inner lined with red, made her red highlights and red tipped hair pop out even more. Her eyes glowed red and blue. She wears a pair of red goggles that hang around her neck right under her black bra, her pants barely cover her right leg while the left is fully covered in a ripped jean. Her twin katanas sit comfortably on her lower back where she can easily take them out. But with her journey to find her sister never stopped it took her to where she had once started.

She wanders around city 017, avoiding the red tide of punishing virus from consuming her. Being an ascendant, she could survive the red tide for a time, but not for a long time. Alpha turns around and knocks over a can. She then examines it and then throws it away.

A noise distracted her for a moment, and she got into a ready stance, holding her katana. Just then, a corrupted comes walking out with two swords, one in each hand.

Alpha quickly pulls out her katana and cuts the corrupted robots in half in less than a second. She then sheathed her katana just as the robot fell to the ground in half.

She continued walking further into the building as it gradually turned from a dilapidated building to one full of wires, pipes, air ducts, and power stations, all deactivated.

She entered into a large open room with an unknown machine in the center, with a bunch of corrupted wandering around it.

Just as she was about to turn and leave, another corrupted appeared behind her and slashed at her back, causing her to fall near the center of the large machine.

Alpha stands up without so much as a scratch on her back and turns to the corrupted, which are all looking at her.

One of the corrupted screams a battle cry, and the rest charge at her. She readies her stance and begins to cut down the corrupted. But they seem to be never ending, charging at her in droves.

Just then, she heard the machine behind her turn on and charge up. She looked around and saw one of the corrupted, removing their hand from a switch and then destroying the panel with their sword. She gritted her teeth, and she knew she needed to get out and away from the machine charging behind her, but the corrupted just kept coming and wouldn't let up.

After taking out a few more corrupted down, the machine goes critical with an eerie sound, warning that the machine is about to explode. Alpha desperately tried to cut down as many corrupted as possible but they didn't stop coming and the machine exploded, with Alpha at the center, the last thing she swears she saw was a corrupted smile in satisfaction.
