𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏, Needs

         A/N: HII! I'm SO SO sorry I hadn't written chapters for this book earlier!! I was busy with school and extracurricular activities! I'll try my hardest to make more parts of this book soon! 

                                                                                 No one's POV:

  The door of the Overlord Rosie's empty emporium created a loud 'thud,' which arose Rosie toward her building's entrance. As the knocking began to grow louder, she groaned at the irritating sound as she wondered who could it be.

"Geez, I'm coming.. You sure are impatient..."

The charming Overlord unlocked the building's main entrance, a bit surprised to see her dear friend waiting on the other side. She covered her mouth in a polite manner to cover her small gasp. 

"Alastor!" 

He looked at Rosie with a tired and annoyed expression only shown in his eyes and lowered eyebrows. Although his embarrassment was palpable, Alastor kept his wide toothy grin on his face. 

"Hello Rosie. I need a place to clear my head. May I come in?"

Her expression began to seem fret for her friend, she nodded as he strained his grin.

"Of course! My, my, you're making me worried."

Alastor cracked his neck, rotating his to face Rosie as his body faced the opposite direction. "What did you say!" 

Rosie put on a confused smile, "I'm worried about you?" She lead her friend toward two empty, blood-stained chairs divided by a coffee table and made him sit down. He rested his elbows on his knees, covering up his stressed face. "Ugh—-why does it feel different when you say it... Nothing makes sense anymore."

As the low-dignified buck confessed, he removed his radio static from his voice as he began to speak more genuine than he usually does.

Rosie leaned herself forward to hear his muffled voice more, as well as to comfort him more. "Why don't you tell me what's going on while we get you cleaned up..." 

He paused, looking up at her with a confused demeanor, "What do you mean "clean up?"" Rosie smiled at him teasingly. 

"Well, you do have a bit of fresh angelic blood on your chin. What, did you attend a feast without me!" She said jokingly, trying to cheer to dear friend up.

Alastor's eyes widened slightly, his cheeks blushing a soft red. He grabbed one of his arms' sleeves and pulled it out to wipe his chin. "What! Rosie, why didn't you let me know I was looking indecent sooner!"

She giggled at his preposterous expression of emotion, "Well I didn't consider it indecent. After all, you've had blood on your face before."

She paused, "What... were you doing indecent acts?~"

Alastor shook his head vigorously at her, "No! This is serious, Rosie- Someone who I won't name is using dirty tactics to confuse me!" 

Rosie shrugged at his confession, trying not to smile too hard at him stumbling over his words. "Is this person Lucifer Morningstar."

He paused and looked up at his friend, "How do you know that!"

Rosie let out a small giggle at his distress, "Sorry darling, but you aren't exactly subtle with your feelings... I mean, he's been a frequent topic on your broadcast for a while! It's actually really cute!"

Alastor's cheeks flushed a light red, looking down at the marble-textured floor and mumbling back to Rosie, "I don't talk about him that much..." "It's okay, Alastor..." 

"From what I hear, it's obvious that he cares about you. And I think you're starting to care about him too. This is similar to how people feel when they fall in love. And you're allowed to feel these things..."

He sighed softly, trying to keep his emotions in check. "No, I can't, Rosie. It would cost too much..."

"But aren't some things worth the price?"

                                                                              Alastor's POV:

My eyes widened slightly as she suggested just letting it happen. "No. You can't seriously expect me to be in love! I don't do bold romantic gestures and I've never felt comfortable with these feelings and now I'm experiencing them tenfold! I've never known what it's like to want someone-

No, I'm not going to let these emotions change me. If you don't mind, I'm going to stay here with you for a while."

Rosie nodded at me with an expression of worry for me, she got off the blood-stained couch and lead me toward an empty room.
