"I can only be in the office before lunch. My fiancée is pregnant, I can't risk it, so you have to reschedule everything on my calendar," Faye commanded, her voice firm as she addressed her personal assistant. "I'll work from home if needed. If there are important meetings, move them to the morning. If they can't do that, don't bother scheduling me."

The PA blinked, the abrupt change in schedule already making her head spin. He nodded quickly, though, not daring to argue with the sudden order. The intensity in Faye's eyes left no room for negotiation.

"And one more thing—contact the developer and interior designer," Faye continued, her gaze turning softer, as if thinking about something private. "Update me on the house's progress as soon as possible. I need to move in soon."

"Yes, ma'am," the assistant murmured, hastily scribbling notes.

"I'm heading back now," Faye stated, her voice low but steady. "My phone will no longer be for work unless it's an emergency. So don't bother reaching out unless it's absolutely necessary."

The PA opened his mouth, wanting to say something about the chaos this would cause—the backlog of meetings, the negotiations left hanging—but the look on Faye's face silenced her. She simply nodded, adjusting her glasses and scribbling furiously on her notepad.

"Understood, ma'am."

Satisfied, Faye turned on her heel, striding confidently out of her office. These past three days had been the happiest and most chaotic of her life. Knowing she was going to be a parent soon—going to be a *daddy*—filled her with an indescribable sense of joy and responsibility. But there were so many things to consider now. The wedding would have to be moved earlier, plans for a baby shower were in order, and a nursery needed to be set up...

Yet despite the sudden rush of responsibilities, Faye handled it all with an unshakeable calmness. Because right now, her fiancée, Yoko, was clearly the one who needed the stability. And for Yoko, Faye would move mountains.

Sliding into her car, Faye glanced at the empty passenger seat beside her, imagining Yoko's radiant smile. Her fiancée had started glowing differently lately, her entire aura softer, warmer. Faye could see the subtle changes—the little weight Yoko had gained, the fullness in her cheeks, the way her skin seemed to almost shimmer. The pregnancy glow was real, and it made Yoko look even more beautiful, if that were even possible.

Faye sighed, her lips curling into a tender smile as she thought about Yoko's delicate, slightly rounded figure. She no longer took the bike to work, opting for the car instead, knowing that Yoko worried. The little things mattered more now. Everything did.

As she drove home, Faye's mind wandered to the plans she'd been secretly working on. They were going to outgrow the penthouse soon—too small for a growing family. She was arranging for a real home, one with more space, a garden, and rooms for their children. Somewhere Yoko could feel settled and safe, and their baby could run and play.

The thought of Yoko holding their child, rocking their baby to sleep, made Faye's heart swell with emotion.

She parked quietly, the excitement thrumming under her skin. She hurried upstairs, smiling to herself, knowing that Yoko was likely getting ready. Reaching the master bedroom, Faye paused, her breath catching in her throat as she watched Yoko.

Her fiancée stood in front of the mirror, slipping into an elegant black outfit, her movements graceful yet hesitant. The sight made Faye's pulse quicken. Stepping forward, she wrapped her arms around Yoko's waist from behind, pulling her gently against her chest. The scent of Yoko's hair, the softness of her skin, everything felt more precious now.
