Hello I'm thinking of making a new twitter account but I'm so shy.

———-

Once Yoko and the babies finally drifted off to sleep, Faye stood quietly in the dim hospital room. The soft, rhythmic sounds of their breathing filled the air, and for a moment, everything felt suspended in time. She gazed down at her wife and their two newborns—her family. Yoko was curled gently around the babies, her body naturally protecting them even in her sleep, and Faye couldn't help but smile. Her heart was full, almost too full, and she didn't know how to express the overwhelming love she felt at that moment.

Carefully, Faye leaned over to kiss Yoko's forehead, then softly brushed her lips against each of their daughters' heads. "My girls," she whispered, her voice low and tender, as if speaking any louder would break the spell of the moment. She tucked the blankets a little tighter around all three of them, making sure Yoko and the babies were warm and comfortable. The sight of them together like this—it was everything she had ever wanted but never thought she deserved.

She didn't allow herself to rest, though. Faye moved quietly around the room, making sure every small thing was in order. She checked the monitors, adjusted the pillows, even took out her phone to text and make calls. She had promised Yoko perfection, and now that they had not one but two little ones, everything needed to be absolutely right. The nursery at home—she had only prepared it for one baby. But now they had two, and that meant a second crib, more clothes, more everything. Faye's mind raced with the realization that her world had just doubled in size.

Her fingers flew over her phone as she texted contractors to make last-minute changes at home, calling in favors to get everything delivered on time. "We need another bassinet... no, two. Matching, of course. And another changing station. Double everything," she muttered under her breath as she typed. Every detail had to be perfect by the time they brought Yoko and the twins home.

Once she had set everything in motion, Faye turned back to her sleeping girls. For a moment, her protective instincts softened, and she allowed herself to just take them in. She traced Yoko's delicate features with her eyes, remembering all the times she had watched her sleep before. But now, it was different. Now, Yoko wasn't just her wife—she was the mother of their children. Their bond had deepened in a way she couldn't have imagined before. And the babies... Faye still couldn't believe it. Two tiny souls, both so beautiful, both part of her and Yoko. It felt surreal.

Yoko stirred in her sleep, her arm instinctively tightening around the babies. Faye leaned down again, her voice barely above a whisper. "You did it, princess. You did so good." She kissed Yoko's temple and then stood, watching over them like a sentinel as the room fell silent once more.

The night at the hospital was quiet, save for the soft hum of machines and the gentle breathing of Yoko and the twins. Faye had spent hours watching over her girls, her heart swelling with a kind of love she never thought was possible. Everything felt peaceful, like they were living in a dream. But just as Faye allowed herself to relax, a small whimper broke the silence.

She turned her head, her eyes landing on little Faith, whose tiny face was scrunched up in what looked like frustration. Faye smiled, shaking her head softly. "You're already causing trouble, huh?" she whispered, leaning over to check on the baby.

Faith's little mouth was moving, her lips pursing as if searching for something. Faye's eyes softened, realizing the baby was hungry. "Oh, you're such a big eater, aren't you?" Faye said with a quiet laugh, carefully picking her up. She cradled Faith in her arms, marveling at how tiny she was. Faith's eyes blinked open just for a moment before she let out another soft whimper, her tiny fist wrapping around Faye's thumb.
