Current year: 2837.

In a large forest, close to the town of Sentinel lays Dias, a mage currently taking a break from casting his spells. "I fucking hate trying to cast spells." Dias said as he stood up and attempted to cast another spell.

Dias concentrates on his mind before quickly casting handsigns, "I'm sure to have gotten it." Dias says with a smirk on his face.. Until he gets shot in the back with the same Sagitta Sol(Sun Arrow) he was trying to cast.

He falls to the floor and lays there for a good minute. "Another failure.." He mutters as he gets up once more. "And another attempt."

Approximately... 3 hours later. Same forest, same spell, same failure and as of right now he's lying on the same grass he was on 3 hours ago. This day was another bad day. He got up and began walking back to the town of Sentinel.

Though, on the way back, he catches a glimpse of one of those training grounds the Knights of Order use. Though risky, he thought to himself. "Perfect opportunity for training." He got closer to the training grounds and noticed that there were actually no Knights anywhere. He entered the training grounds and noticed that the shriekers weren't there either..

The atmosphere was getting gloomy, the clouds were arriving and it slowly began to rain. He was about to leave the training grounds till he heard the horrifying screech of a shrieker, accompanied by another, and another... And another...

Multiple shriekers had arrived and they were rapidly approaching. Dias thought about casting Sagitta Sol for a second but realized he might backfire and be killed. It was best to lower his expectations on his power. He went for a much simpler spell. Scrupus(Sharp Stone) raised a pillar beside him and he pulled out a sword from it.

However, another screech came from behind him. He turned to fight but it was too late, the shrieker had already grasped at his hand. The hand that held the sword had withered and the sword had fallen.

He tried to run, he regretted ever walking into this God forsaken place. And as he reached the exit, another shrieker grasped at his leg, withering it almost instantly. He fell and slowly the shriekers had arrived, beginning to feast on his body.

He had awoken in the safe confines of his home, his little sister watching over him. As soon as she realized he woke up, she ran out screaming "Mom! He's awake!" He got up and checked his wounds yet it seemed as though all was alright. Was it just a bad dream? It couldn't have been. He grasped at the table beside his bed and noticed that something was missing... "My tome... My tome!" The expensive tome he bought with his money was missing.

He got up and ran out to the living room. "Mom, where is my tome??" Dias exclaimed as he started opening drawers and checking bags. Eleanor(Dias' mother) Ran to Dias and hugged him tightly. "Say thank you to the person who saved you! And don't do that again!" Dias turned to see a member of the Knights of Order eating beside his beloved little sister(Dolores). "Ah right... I forgot." The Knight said as he grabbed the tome from his lap. "Here it is."

Heavens above! This man must be a hero! Dias' eyes widen, his jaw drops and he cannot put into words how happy he is. He bows down, takes the tome, hugs his little sister and leaves his home. He jumps up and about the streets joyfully. Running through stalls who's shopkeepers know him by name and one even giving him a piece of bread for what he'd done a few days ago.

He left the city gates, off to another training montage behind his mother's back! He heads to that same forest once more. He encountered the same training grounds that almost got him killed and this time, he knew of what to do. He walked past it and went to the spot he was at earlier, once again casting Sagitta Sols.
